No consensus to move. There is a clear absence of consensus for a move of this title. BD2412 T 07:36, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Blue (Don Cherry's dog)Blue (dog) – And also Blue (dog) moved to Blue (fictional dog). The current Blue (dog) is a redirect to Blue_(disambiguation)#Fictional_entities. There's at least 2 dogs in that list, so the new redirect fits, and it seems clear that the real dog should have Blue (dog). Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:00, 17 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • My concern that leads me to oppose is that I don't believe the new title provides adequate disambiguation. Sure, the animated Blue is fictional, but that doesn't make dog an unambiguous distinction, just as we couldn't put a real lion at Aslan (lion) because Aslan is from a book. I think it might be a clearer case if the Don Cherry blue was more well known, but common usage seems to bring up the animated Blue, other non-notable Blue's, or even the Blue from Old Blue (song) before it gets to this one. I don't have any issue with the Blue (dog) named being pointed away from the animated character and to the dab page though.--Yaksar (let's chat) 20:50, 17 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment. There are two evident problems here: there's nothing in this article to suggest that this dog or series of dogs has any kind of notability independent of that of the owner, so the page should probably become a redirect (at which point the title is of fairly minimal importance); and secondly, the current disambiguation is deceptive – if we see that there's a page about "Don Cherry's dog", we can reasonably expect it to be about a dog owned by the world-famous Don Cherry, not by this person.
