Clip vs. magazine edit

I changed all instances of "clip" to the more appropriate term "magazine", as these are two entirely different things. I also changed instances of "bullet" to "round" as that is more appropriate. Instances of "shell" were also changed to "round" as a "shell" refers to an empty cartridge casing and not an unfired metallic cartridge.

Comments edit

This article could use a thorough copy-edit. Sentences like this one: "Fromme moved to San Francisco and, in November 1972, moved to Sacramento to be closer to Manson as he was transferred from San Quentin Prison near San Francisco to Folsom Prison." are cumbersome and difficult to comprehend. Also, the source for that sentence in particular does not mention when Fromme moved to Sacramento, just sometime after October 1972 - either remove the month or find a source that says November. Life sentence edit

This highly respected "lady" gets a life sentence. Then escapes prison. And is released after 30 years or so. At about age 60. Needless to say, seems like a joke. (Although this is California, so probably SOP there.) This article should give some indication of how/why her life sentence was reduced to 30 years (parole? pardon? commutation? good time?). In other words, how/why did she exit prison? Thanks. 32.209.69.132 (talk) 02:16, 5 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Her bio article (Squeaky Fromme) states: She attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford in 1975. For that crime, she was sentenced to life in prison. She was paroled from prison on August 14, 2009, after serving approximately 34 years. Maybe include some of that detail in this article, also? Thanks. 32.209.69.132 (talk) 03:21, 5 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
