POV debate and "marketingish" text
editPOV used in several cases, generally through use of words with specific, subjective connotations. For example: "Lucia, Angella, and Maria thrive on dissolving the barriers between art forms.""A 1997 MTV appearance on Bryan Adams' "Unplugged" program led to the development of "Ahn-Plugged," which typifies the excitement and energy of the Ahn Trio. Mostly recently, they have created their own label, L.A.M.P (Lucia Angella Maria Productions), to allow them greater freedom to further explore the new, cutting edge projects they have always pursued. It is precisely this vitality and commitment to innovation that has the Ahn Trio continually drawing new audiences to classical music."88.153.51.205 (talk) 20:21, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Garkbit (talk) 17:33, 30 December 2008 (UTC) They are a great band. I do agree about POV about "the excitement and energy of the" "new, cutting edge projects they have always pursued" "precisely this vitality and commitment to innovation" and such things that seem generous but not **encylopedic** in nature. Update:: I have edited some of these accordingly.
This is closer to a publicity release than an objective article. There are very subjective pronouncements about the group's merit and no mention at all of negative reactions, of which there have been many and which should be cited for the purpose of balance to this fawning piece. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.189.193 (talk) 09:23, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
Since there has been no new discussion on the matter, I'm going to remove the template on the article. I would suggest that editors that are concerned with the language of the article simply make good faith edits to correct it and improve the article. Unless there is an ongoing edit war, which I don't see evidence of, it would seem a much better idea to simply correct the problems that you see rather then add a template that calls the entire article into question. It is ALWAYS better to try making good faith edits FIRST. Michaelh2001 (talk) 19:51, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
Follow up comment: I discussed this with an admin, and we both agree this article has problems that slant it toward promoting the subject of the article rather than it being neutral. Frankly, its puffery, but that template is being considered for deletion, so I used the next best one. Having seen them in concert but having no knowledge of the group beyond "original research", I would hope that some other editors with knowledge of the subject beyond my own will edit the article and balance it out.
