Is that actually the franchise's twitter feed? Just that it lacks a blue tick... I've no doubt that it is, but it's fairly incompetent for a business like this to not get the tick sorted out pretty much straight away.

I think I'd rather wait - as should so much about the "article" have done - until we have some kind of press coverage if that's OK. It might already be out there - I've no idea.

I have tidied up the article and removed the ridiculous amount of empty sections and tables, like I did at the Lucknow article. I imagine this one will have to be protected as well unless y'all can show some actual restraint. Blue Square Thing (talk) 21:09, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

The first one is a tweet from a fake account. The second one isn't WP:RS. This source which was cited by many itself says Although any official announcement is yet to come, this developement is all over the internet (Yes, "developement"). There is no way websites like Cricinfo or Cricbuzz won't report the news if it was official. Thus I propose this article to be moved back to Ahmedabad IPL Team and kept that way until at least one of Cricinfo, BCCI or Cricbuzz confirm that "Ahmedabad Titans" is the name of the franchise. Article style

Please don't add unreferenced sections or completely empty sections. It makes the article look awful and is simply fancruft. If you compare this article with Lucknow Super Giants - that's the position we got to there and which has been deemed to be acceptable. If you compare what some of the very new editors seem to be doing to the pages for established IPL teams, it's complete overkill - we don't need their batting and bowling stats, we don't need two lists of players, we don't need unreferenced brand values etc...

Whilst I'm here, we're not six. We don't need to say it's the "biggest stadium of India and the whole world". Gosh, the "whole world". Just say it's the biggest in the world - that works in all forms of English and isn't duplicating reading effort. Of course it's a copyvio "own work" and certain subjects mean there's a 90% chance. I should have checked... Replaced with an older image. As someone who saw these in the speedy queue - I'm not sure deleting them as a hoax is the correct move. Especially since redirects are cheap and if there had been speculation that the team would have one name but it then ended up having another I can see people searching for the alternative name. The ones I saw don't seem to be harming anything, and if you think they should go I think redirects for discussion is probably a better alternative to speedy deletion as a hoax. ~ ONUnicorn^{(Talk|Contribs)}problem solving 16:01, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

To me, they'd be better off deleted - the team never had that name. There *might* be a case for keeping the Ahmedabad Titans one as a redirect on the grounds you present, but the List of player, records and season, I think not. A search for the team name in general terms is potentially reasonable to predict, but it'll never play a match under that name so I honestly wouldn't think anyone would search for the other articles.
