Talk:AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain

Merger proposal edit

I propose that AT&T SportsNet Utah be merged into this article. I know the Utah network was branded as FSN Utah for many years and I believe Root Sports Utah. But it seems AT&T has ended that. I can't find any references to "AT&T Sportsnet Utah". It appears that the branding now is just "AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain" and this operates as a subfeed. I think it may be time to merge this into the Rocky Mountain sportsnet article.--Rusf10 (talk) 22:29, 22 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

SportsNet Rocky MountainAT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain – The now defunct channel should be kept at its long time name instead of its temporary one. Appears to likely be the common name as well based on the article's sources. Esolo5002 (talk) 22:41, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Support per WP:COMMONNAME. The Kip 05:31, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Closer to the final name than the interim post-AT&T rebrand. It seems that AT&T gave a hard out date to the use of its trade dress to the RSNs; this one had to rebrand even though it was moribund. (This extended even to the typefaces on the graphics they used.) Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 01:02, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
