– Season no longer spans over two calendar years. This was the plan pre-COVID, so is expected to finish no later than December in future years as well. League is referred to by the season number, so no official correspondence linking the title. JRATalk 07:34, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose they are part of the 2020-21 (or 2019-20) cricket season, per WP:CRIC#STYLE (under the sub-heading for Seasons). Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:48, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose for the same reason - Australian cricket has always been played by the season, not by the calendar year, and seasons run from about September to about March - there is only ever going to be one WBBL competition for each Australian cricket season. • Oppose for same reason. Although it is true that all games were played in the calendar year 2020, as mentioned above and per WP:CRIC#STYLE, cricket in Australia is played during a season which spans to calendar years and the style guide favours naming these tournaments according to cricket season rather than year (see for example 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup, which was played entirely in 2017). • Oppose - even though WBBL05 and WBBL06 took place only in the calendar years 2019 and 2020, WP:CRIC#STYLE applies here. Pete "I ♥️ WBBL" aka --Shirt58 (talk) 10:43, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - WP:CRIC#STYLE applies. Cavepavonem (talk) 11:24, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
