Virudhunagar, Sattur and Sivakasi constituencies were hitherto with Sivakasi Lok Sabha constituency, Aruppukottai with Ramanathapuram Lok sabha constituency, Tirumangalam from Dindigul constituency and Thirupparankundram with Madurai Lok Sabha constituency.
