Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

Disambiguation pages edit

Please note that disambiguation pages like Living in Sin are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory
  • Do not add articles to acronym or initials disambiguation pages unless the person or entity is widely known by that name (in which case it should be stated in the linked article).

I could not find any existing article that mentions this movie. If you don't understand how to edit, please read through the links above.

Thank you. Leschnei (talk) 03:22, 1 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Elisabeth Freundlich edit

The article Elisabeth Freundlich has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources. Journalists are not inherently notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ––FormalDude talk 07:28, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

The concensus is that an obscure does not mean not notable. When tagging articles for deletion, please judge take into consideration that the history of women and people of color have already been covered less in books. It's important that we give notable women and people of color coverage on Wikipedia. Labeling articles for deletion because they are not notable to you, does not make them inheritently unnotable to others. Elisabeth Freundlich was a journalist who reported on the Frankfurt Auschwitz Trials - she is considered notable to Holocaust refugees. TheTypingKat (talk) 22:46, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Women in Red edit

Hi there, TheTypingKat, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you intend to help us out with Jewish and Latin women. You may be able to find some interesting names in our {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Redlist index|Redlists]]. Amira de la Rosa moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Amira de la Rosa, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi TheTypingKat and thank you for creating this article. As the co-founder of WP:WikiProject Women writers and WP:WikiProject Women in Red, I, too, have looked at Draft:Amira de la Rosa and it's a nice article on a truly notable woman. If you would please add a few more references, I'd be glad to review it and see about follow-up actions. Would you please ping me (here or on my talkpage) after you have done so? Thanks again for what you do around here; it's greatly appreciated. (cc: onel5969) Rosiestep (talk) 05:57, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi! Sorry I forgot to ping you but I added more references about a year ago. I think it's okay now but if you have time, or haven't already done so, feel free to give it a look over. Thanks for your help! Kat TheTypingKat (talk) 19:32, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
