"Former cast"

Hi there, re: these edits, "Former cast" is not a valid subsection of cast. Cast members don't stop being of academic importance just because they've left the series, and an encyclopedia doesn't just focus on the current members of a cast, we care about the entire history of noteworthy cast. See WP:TVCAST. The community prefers that we organise cast per their introduction into the series, with new cast members being added to the bottom of either a Main or Recurring cast list. So a cast list might look like this:

• Swapna Balwinder (2012)
• Jeetendra Savitri (2013)
• Divya Lochan (2016)
• Inderjeet Archana (2018)

This means that people no longer on the series might actually appear at the top of the list. This is fine. This is what the community prefers. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:38, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

Supporting Indian Wikipedia Program resource distribution

In 2017 - 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India chapter (WMIN) and user groups will pilot a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program (Code name: Project Tiger) will:

(a) Support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and

(b) Sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

The objective of the program is to provide laptops and internet stipends for existing editors who need support to contribute more actively. 50 basic model Acer Chromebooks and Internet stipends for 100 contributors are available for distribution. Provided resources are the sole property of the beneficiaries and should be used for the betterment of the movement.

If you're an active Wikimedian, and interested to receive support from this project, please apply. It will take around 10 minutes of your time, and will ask descriptive questions about your contribution to Indic Wikimedia projects.

Seasons

Hi I just noticed that you changed some TV series "seasons" citing Hotstar as a reference. Indian TV series does not follow the "season" criteria, they just divided episodes in seasons on hotstar only to make it more easy for viewers to watch series with 500 or 1000+ episodes easily. @Siddiqsazzad001: What's your problem? In your recent edit, you have undone an edit made by me in which I added new info regarding the character of Roop Singh Oberoi, a pivotal character reintroduced in the series for its further progress. Ony because now Roop is being played another till now unidentified actress you are persistently disrupting the creative info. According to you, "New cast member's will be at bottom."

Well then stick to your opinion my fellow, first reorder the cast and bring the newly-introduced characters of gauri, bhavya, veer etc. to the bottom of the page and then say. I will also see how many people will then support with your "lawful" (in your opinion) editing. Don't start baseless feuds with people, which ultimately affects the benefit of the article, You may have enough time to loiter and pass, but others may not or are less likely. But my problem is that you reverted the entire edit with unsatisfactory explanation.I wrote unknown actress since I don't know her name and wanted other editors with enough info to do that thing over time. @Siddiqsazzad001: With the first I am not clear what you are saying. As for the second part, I didn't avoid anyone, I only re-edit those parts where you were ABSOLUTELY WRONG, and you still are. If a specific somewhere I have written "actress" for not knowing her real name, and i allowed you myself to delete it, but aside from it I am right in all matters concerned. And anyway, you don't have to poke your nose in my discussion with Cyphoidbomb. Or is that your habit, to forcibly intrude into others' conversation with that rude permissive attitude of yours. I have got a feeling you are trying to evade my private space and worsen my relationship Cyphoidbomb. I am very much on good terms with him for your concern. He like a proper administrator will guide me whenever needed, and as an editor Ihave the right to venge out my queries to him whenever needed, especially when he makes a mistake and defames me. But you being an outsider come to fuel up the little altercation like typical vamp of saas-bahu serials, and your thinking all these my "avoiding him" then that proves that you don't deserve to be a good editor. As an editor to maintain wikipedia's policy is your duty, but to make a good article by cooperating and dealing with small things applying your conscience, which I see you don't appear to have. Majority of the Indian editors don't know or are not interested to go through the WP:MOS, if you had seen a large no. of articles rather than a few ones in your circle, that resembles your constricted knowledge, you wouldn't have made these a big of an issue and would have mentioned the important details as I politely asked for. But, you don't know what your job is, to make a thing better with lucid writing style and significant info. But you are a person full of flaws. Neither you have the control over language to contribute to the plot, nor you can make things you want to say clear nor can you supply with cast information nor can you cooperate with others. All you can do is cut info from the cast and reorder the cast members, that requires no skill, noe creative mondset. You are even so dumb to call two characters played by a single actor as "duplicates". How stupid!!!! All you can do is bicker and defame others, create controversies and make the progress slower. I would say you should quit your job, with so many incapabilities. First get to know of your job properly which is to create that I and many of the people out there do, they don't need to know of policies to write proper glorified summaries; but the futile you can't even do that despite memorizing the rules, like some dead infernal soul, you always destroy and still claim yourself to be an editor. As I said, not just one mistake. Rollback is for reverting vandalism only and you used it for all sorts of reverts that were not obvious vandalism. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] and here you just blindly reverted without noting other obvious problems with the article [9]. You were editing so fast it is difficult to believe you are paying any attention to what you were actually doing. It most of these cases it looks as though you are just randomly reverting changes by IP users. That is not ok.

I took a chance granting you rollback despite my misgivings, and it seems clear now that granting it was a mistake. Frankly with the level of errors I’m seeing you probably shouldn’t be doing counter-vandalism at all, or at least should complete the WP:CVUA course before trying again.
