Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Evolve Wrestling events, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ridgewood, New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Angelo Dawkins edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Angelo Dawkins, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Joe Coleman (wrestler) edit

The article Joe Coleman (wrestler) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I have not found any significant coverage by any reliable sources to prove notability for the subject

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WOW Season 5 edit

Hello. I noticed that you've been adding the List of episodes for Season 5. I wanted to say thanks for doing so. But I should inform you that WOW taped these episodes on both October 10th and October 11th. So we aren't sure which episodes was taped on the 10th and which episodes was taped on the 11th. I only know for sure the match between Jungle Grrrl and Tessa Blanchard for the vacant WOW World Championship was on October 11th. I was the one who added Tessa to the Championship list. I contacted WOW via Instagram to ask them for the specific date (10th or 11th) when the match took place so I can add that to Championship section. They confirm these episodes were taped on the 10th and 11th, and the 11th was the specific date for the match between Jungle Grrrl and Tessa Blanchard. I think for the List of episodes we shouldn't list when it was taped because we don't know which of the two dates. What do you think? Seasrmar (talk) 05:24, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I agree with you, I was confused with it as well. I went to see the results through the webside "Cagematch" and it's said that the eps were taped in October 11. But I think we should write it was taped in October 10-11 2018. Sorry for the late reply. SeosiWrestling (talk) 06:47, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Would you like to do the honor of editing the article to write that it was taped on October 10-11, 2018? I will edit List of combined reigns now that Tessa's reign supersede than Terri Gold's reigns. Seasrmar (talk) 06:04, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

REDLINK edit

Hello, I'm STATicVapor. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Impact Wrestling Rebellion. Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please, only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks! edit

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Ethel Johnson.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ethel Johnson.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 16:45, 26 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Ethel Johnson.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ethel Johnson.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 17:04, 26 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I didn't tried to move his Wiki's name to Aaron Haddad, I tried to move it to Aaron Stevens, the name he wrestles on NWA.
Aron Stevens it's not the commonname. Or at least, the move it's controversial, enough for a discussion. Usually, pro wrestling articles are more guided by WP:COMMONNAME, which is the most famous and known ring name --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 19:05, 17 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

AEW edit

Why do you keep doing this? Your edition was reverted several times. First, it's pointless to say Chris Jericho is the first champion and then, Jericho defeated Adam Page. Everybody understands Jericho is the one who defeated Page. Also, AEW list the tag as Kenny Omega and Adam Page. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 18:57, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • But this isn't alphabetic. Adam Page should be before Kenny Omega. I agree with what you said about Jericho, but I think that the team of Page and Omega should be in an alphabetic order. If it that much trouble I'll stop. I also don't understand why it keeps changing the place of the title won. For example, if its won on Texas, it should be wrote as TX (see ISO 3166-1), as WWE do it as well.
      • Don't worry. I thought the order was also by the name, but looks like we didn't understand it. You are doing a great job keeping the titles updated :)--HHH Pedrigree (talk) 15:44, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
    • Hint, "O" comes before "P" and championship lists sort by last name, so it is actually in alphabetical order. MPJ-DK (talk) 13:55, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • To MPJ-DK, I was talking about the first name not last name, such as the roster list is organized by first name, unless both first name of the wrestlers start with the same letter, then it goes by the last name. But again, if it that much trouble, I won't edit this section again. My apologies.
    • Then the AEW list format is wrong. MPJ-DK (talk) 14:41, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • To MPJ-DK, so does WWE's, Impact's, ROH's, NJPW's, and so on?
    • Doesn't make it right, should sort by last name whenever the subject has a last name, nor should it sort by "The" or "El" or "Los" etc. being wrong across multiple articles only makes it more wrong. I tend to not deal with WWE/AEW/Impact etc. articles due to the more contentious editing habits that these articles attract. So being wrong on multiple accounts doesn't make it right. MPJ-DK (talk) 14:47, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • To MPJ-DK, Understood. I know it shouldn't be sorted by "The" or "El" or "Los" etc. But I take it to my notice.

Sorting and redirect misunderstandings edit

Hi there. I see you have been busy working on championship articles, which is great. But I noticed one issue that you are probably not aware of how some of the sorting should and should not be done

  • Sorting is not needed on anywhere where the link/display name sorts correctly already, it over compliates the table and makes it harder for others to also edit
  • No need to add it to a link that already correctly sorts by the first letter of the link - Example "Dinastia" already sorts correcty, no need to over complicate it.
  • {{Sortname}} should only be used for names that are proper names and should sort by last name. Example "Mini Psicosis" should not sort by Psychsis, his first name is not "Mini" after all.
  • If the link redirects correctly, example El Mesias redirects to Ricky Banderas then there is no need to "fix" it in the {{Sortname}} parameter, redirects are better than piped links and easier for editors to read in edit version.

So I am doing some clean up to the code to address these issues. I am just hoping that you understand the feedback I'm giving you, I am only looking to educate you and not in any way attack you. MPJ-DK (talk) 12:39, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • To MPJ-DK, thank you so much! I wasn't aware about it, thank you for letting me know.

Hey there, SeosiWrestling! Thank you very much for expanding the article! There were, however, some issues with the expansion, most of which I outlined in this edit summary. For starters, we cannot make statements in Wikipedia's voice that the sources don't state; examples of this include the suggestion that Savoy debuted for Shimmer in 2014, her first Shimmer title defense, as well as her face/heel statuses. Please also observe WP:PW/RS's guidance on which sources are reliable. Cheers! KyleJoantalk 15:00, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Requesting assistance edit

Hi SeosiWrestling,

I'm writing to you because you are listed as a member of the Wikiproject Pro Wrestling, and I'm in need of third (actually fourth) opinions.

The thing is, Hartley Jackson recently went through an AfD that arose a lengthy of discussion.
I will try to summarize the problem below.

Jammo85 had asked me for assistance in find sources to a certain fact, and I did find some good sources, but we are still facing opposition from another user in Hartley Jackson and The Mighty Don't Kneel (TMDK).
I would thus like to ask your opinion on the matter.

We would like to state "Hartley Jackson was part of The Mighty Don't Kneel in 2015 and 2016."

I have found two sources from websites of official pro wrestling events (they are archived, please give it a few minutes to load):

and Hartley appears on the TMDK side on both.

Also, there is also a listing of his appearances as TMDK here, which corroborates the above:

but this website is listed in one unofficial list of reliable sources as being Marginally reliable. Strictly used for match results and not other information. Takes user submissions but is reviewed by regional editors that verify all submissions before they are added to the database. The other party uses this against us, but I actually think it supports us, as we are actually only using results here. That is, we are not using the blog posts produced in cagematch (see [5]).

I thought the above sources were enough, but there are some more if you would like to see:[1][2][3].

  1. ^ Wrestle rampage's official ad on social media [1].
  2. ^ Greer, Jamie (2020-05-05). "The Mighty, Too: Shane Thorne & Brendan Vink Continue TMDK Legacy". Last Word on Pro Wrestling. Retrieved 2020-09-26.
  3. ^ Other sources on this piece of information are: [2], which is an article from a podcast on wrestling, which mentions Hartley as being part of TMDK; and also [3] [4], which are official match advertisements from Wrestling Rampage, and show Hartley in the TMDK team. All links were accessed on October 7, 2020.

Can I have your opinion on this?
If you could express it on the talk pages too, I'd really appreciated it.

Best, Walwal20 talkcontribs 19:03, 12 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Then create a "new" section on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Professional_wrestling and discuss your concerns there; e.g. why you think "WWE 50 Greatest Women Superstars" is notable. I will write my opinion there. Cheers! Wario-Man talk 15:25, 2 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Christmas in Rockwell moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Christmas in Rockwell, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. A user keeps to undo my edits with no further explanations edit

I really didn't wanted to come to this, I left a message on their talk section, but since they deleted it, I had no choice but to report.

User:WikiMaster2K15 keeps undoing my edits. For example, I edited the World of Stardom Championship, where I made equal space before any = sign to make it more comfortable for the editor to read, but they removed those spaces even when I explained why I'm asking not to remove. I also seen another user complained sbout it to them on their talk page at November.

Also, I use the sortname template on any championship reign section so it would able to organize it alphabetically, you can see the same on List of WWE Champions, but they removed it as well.

I do not asking for that user to be banned or removed, but I tried to voiced my frustration about this which they ignored. User talk:SeosiWrestling 22:50, 18 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. Actual warning, though edit

Late to the party, but a bit disappointed to see everyone above making light of not just vandalism, but a pretty dramatic WP:BLP violation in a discretionary sanctions area. Please don't do that again. Experienced users usually get a single warning for first-offense vandalism, and an indefinite block for second offense. You can consider this the single warning.

@Tamzin: I did not make light of it, merely pointing out it had been noticed off-wiki, without comment. And of course gobonobo reverted and left a warning. Polyamorph (talk) 13:49, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Polyamorph: That was "everyone above" as in "all of the people making light in the thread above", not "all of the people in the thread above, all of whom are making light". Apologies for the imprecise wording. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 06:06, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not going to lie @Tamzin, I have quite a problem with this, not the warning, I get it, but the way you worded it. You made it sound like I committed a serious crime, while, in my view at least, my edit was only a harmless joke. I didn't hurt anybody, the edit was easily reversible. Oh well. SeosiWrestling (talk) 21:24, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
You vandalized a highly visible, politically sensitive BLP. If the tone of the above warning is unpleasant, that's a function of the seriousness of your actions. If you don't like hearing that sort of warning, well, that's sort of the point of giving it. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 06:06, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
