Proposed deletion of Susan Griffith

edit

The article Susan Griffith has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.  Chzz  ►  21:46, 29 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ellen Wroe

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ellen Wroe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stab 6

edit

Hello Scream4man. I suggested that Stab 6 should be merged with the article for Scream 4 not because it is fictional - there are plenty of articles about fictional things on Wikipedia - but because it likely doesn't pass the general notability guideline on its own and is likely to be deleted. This is especially true if it contains unofficial material or rumors. §everal⇒|Times 17:17, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have restored the BLP prod tag you removed from this article. This article is about a living person and appears to have no references. As of March 2010, all newly created biographies of living people must have at least one reference to a reliable source. If no reliable references are found and added within a ten-day grace period, this article may be deleted. This is an important policy to help prevent the retention of incorrect material.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once the article has at least one reliable source, you may remove this tag. - SummerPhD (talk) 00:25, 17 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Cody Kennedy (model)

edit

A tag has been placed on Cody Kennedy (model) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. Proposed deletion of A_Little_Bit_Zombie

Hello, Scream4man. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, A_Little_Bit_Zombie, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

Removing AfD template

edit

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Katie Garner. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  21:17, 25 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Boggy Creek

edit

The article Boggy Creek has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film. No reliable sources, only IMDB. No evidence of charting. No evidence of reviews. Only one notable cast member.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Edit Summaries

edit

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220 of Borg 14:40, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Tyson Jackson (actor)

edit

The article Tyson Jackson (actor) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Proposed deletion of The Haunted Hay Ride

The article The Haunted Hay Ride has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Speedy deletion nomination of Tyson Jackson (actor)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tyson Jackson (actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. JohnCD (talk) 17:20, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to My Babysitter's a Vampire (TV series). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Character name enhancements need references from either an episode of the show or an OFFICIAL show site. The only thing from an actor that counts is what they explicitly say on the show itself. Your contributed article, List of Wonderfalls characters

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of Wonderfalls characters. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Wonderfalls#Cast_and_characters. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Wonderfalls#Cast_and_characters – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Rorshacma (talk) 17:22, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Carrie (2013)

edit

Hi. Thanks for working to improve the Carrie (2013 film) article with your recent edits. However, the edits had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, or obtained through personal knowledge or unpublished synthesis of previously published material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation.

Also, outside of the Lead section, photo captions and tables, terms should not be wikilinked in the article body text more than once, as indicated by WP:OVERLINK. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 22:57, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Please stop adding unsourced material and redundant wikilinks to articles, as you did with these edits to Carrie (2013 film), as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy, and its guidelines on redundant wikilinks. As I mentioned to you above, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. It also calls for terms to wikilinked only once in the article body (excluding the Lead section, captions, tables, etc.), and the terms you wikilinked are already wikilinked further up in the article. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 01:42, 27 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you violate Wikipedia's No Original Research, Verifiability or Reliable Sources policies by adding unsourced material to articles, as you did with these edits to Carrie (2013 film), you will be blocked from editing. Writing "confirmed" in a commented-out note is not a valid citation. Nightscream (talk) 01:11, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The article Karissa and Katie Strain has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Black Christmas (Original and Remake)

edit

Hello Scream4Man, I was looking over your edits to the Black Christmas remake article. So far it looks pretty good, however there are a few details that could be added to the article if the information is available. For instance, the casting and filming sections seems a bit short and could be expanded a bit more. Information such as the casting of Mann and other cast members that aren't included in the casting section could be added. More information on the filming of the remake with interviews from the cast and crew also need to be added to the article as well. I was also wanting to point out my comment on the article's talk page about the article on the original film needing work on as well, and since you seem to be doing a great job here I was just thinking that you might also give that article a shot. Let me know what you think.--Paleface Jack (talk) 15:52, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Found a review from Common Sense Media, but nothing more. ProQuest and Newspapers.com had only TV Guide listings.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Miranda Wilson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Egan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
