The copyright of the picture Philippe_Bober.jpg that I uploaded yesterday. I do have the rights to make it circulate on Wikipedia but I can't seem to update its status with the

The file has been listed for discussion because the same picture has already been published elsewhere, casting some doubt as to whether you are the copyright holder of the file, and thus authorized to release the image under a free license (or into the public domain). Note that even if the photographer (and/or subject) gave you permission to use the file on Wikipedia, this is not sufficient. See WP:DONATEIMAGE for more information. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Philippe Bober.jpg
