Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Morgz.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Morgz.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 19:00, 27 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Morgz.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:Morgz.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Suspected sockpuppetry edit

It appears you are using multiple accounts to edit Wikipedia. If this was a simple error, please declare it on this talk page. If you are using sockpuppets to avoid scrutiny, or using more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes policy, please be aware this is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community and will lead to an investigation that can lead to an indefinite loss of editing privileges. Blackguard 18:25, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Blackguard, there is no need to investigate your case, it was a mistake, the only reason I created a second account was because I was having trouble logging in on my second PC. I can stop using my second account if you would like me to though. From RockingSummer. 18:14, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/RockingSummer, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Morgan Hudson edit

Hello, I'm Ronz. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Morgan Hudson , but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! --Ronz (talk) 16:51, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ronz, I am quite new to Wikipedia and would only like to make a page with real information that I got from reliable sources. I am currently quite confused with what I did wrong. Can you please put into context your previous message so I can understand and maybe Resolve it? From RockingSummer. (Ronz's Talk) 18:11, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

:It would help if you reviewed WP:BLP. I think it safe to assume you have some relationship with the subject of the article, so please review WP:COI as well.

FamousBirthdays.com is not a reliable source. (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information).
Wikipedia should not be used for promotional purposes per WP:NOTADVERTISING. This is blatant advertising. --Ronz (talk) 18:26, 29 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Doctor Who - Online Promotional (Spyfall).jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Doctor Who - Online Promotional (Spyfall).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. January 2020 edit

Hello, I'm ThadeusOfNazereth. I noticed that you recently removed content from Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ThadeusOfNazerethTalk to Me! 19:17, 19 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. -- /Alex/21 21:17, 19 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Is it so hard to wait for the article to be moved to the mainspace properly, or for you to request for it to be done so? Copying between articles is strongly not accepted on Wikipedia. If you do it again next week, I will be faced with the situation of having to report you. -- /Alex/21 21:21, 19 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Stevie White in a suit.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Stevie White in a suit.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:05, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Johnny Harris.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Johnny Harris.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:06, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Purplebricks operations request edit

Hi RockingSummer! Not sure if you saw my request on the Purplebricks Talk page asking about adding an Operations section. I found your username in the page's history, where it looked like you edited it last year to add some details about the international operations. Due to that, I was wondering if you'd be able to review my draft about the company's organisation and financials? I work for Purplebricks and have a conflict of interest, so I'm asking for other editors to review and add the draft (and a photo that I've provided) if they approve. Grateful for any help. Thanks, RT at Purplebricks (talk) 08:55, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
