Deletion of Profiles for PeopleEdit

You were very quick to delete this page which is being newly curated. Profiles for People is non commercial (although once, it was). Please verify this fact, by trying to discover a way to buy this "product". The PfP profiling methodology sits in a space alongside other non commercial and commerical methodologies such as MBTI, and the article, had you not deleted it, would have discussed the different approaches to psychometric assessments such as the Jungian approach adopted by two unqualified fans of Karl Jung whose work somehow became MBTI, the current "go-to" assessment. PfP occupies a space with assessment methodologies that are based around behaviour rather than psychology or personality. Furthermore an API is close to public release so that anyone may create their own assessment. Contrast this with Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) which has its own wikipedia entry yet is clearly part of a business masquerading as a service to society - it charges USD 50 per assessment (https://www.mbtionline.com/TaketheMBTI). Please, if you wish to sit in judgement, then take that page down before you take down a page that represents an organisation making zero money for its service. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dakisan (talkcontribs) 08:33, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

Between the article and this post here, you clearly aren't able to write about this subject in a neutral point of view. Take a few minutes to read WP:COI to see why writing about this is strongly discouraged.----Fabrictramp | talk to me 03:34, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Brands more notable outside of the English speaking worldEdit

With regard to User_talk:Johan_M._Olofsson#Proposed_deletion_of_Woxter:

I'll have to rely on your experience. In the Spanish speaking world, I guess the criterion for notability is met if we trust Grupo Informaria; But I've no idea if that's a trustworthy source. And I know even less if that's a reason to include an article in en.wikipedia.

Johan M. Olofsson (talk) 12:52, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

My Spanish is weak, but it sure reads like a press release. 🤷‍♀️ ----Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:02, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Rajesh Khanna MD PageEdit

I am a budding wikipedian. Just have to say that even My Lord Jesus Christ had to face the opposition as people were not able to see HIS real self.

You all guys are learned and i am not even 1% of your value. Even though recently i have completed my 100 edits on wikipedia and i feel awesome. I just request to see the person worth on the links like Google search... books... videos

Hope justice to my hardwork prevail and i have also placed the ADVT TAG which i received as info from wikipedia to add on page and ask for community support. Regards Pankaj verma 23 (talk) 23:22, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

You've posted this identical message in multiple places. Please stop. Spamming other editors is not a good way to get anyone to help you. ----Fabrictramp | talk to me 00:53, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Michael Z. WilliamsonEdit

I'm surprised you deleted this page as I had just removed the speedy tag from it. I thought it was more suitable for the subject of an AfD. Liz Read! Talk! 03:27, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

@Liz: Our edits must have crossed. I spent a minute or so trying to decide if it should go to AfD instead and really couldn't find any claim of importance in the article, so I A7'd it. If you want it to go to AfD, I'm happy to restore it.----Fabrictramp | talk to me 03:30, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
And in an ironic twist of fate, you just deleted an article I was about to remove the speedy tag from. :) ----Fabrictramp | talk to me 03:33, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
I'm a multiple national bestseller and award winning author. You couldn't find a "claim of importance"? That makes me far more significant than quite a few other authors. So what is your actual concern? I'm going to assume you don't like my public persona, and probably assume I'm an uber-Trump supporter and must be scourged. Even though I'm not. I'm going to suggest to the mods that you have no place on this site. There will be no further response from me.Mzmadmike (talk) 06:07, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
As I count three people who've challenged the deletion here—and this was an article that has previously been kept at AfD, so a speedy deletion was unlikely ever to be appropriate—I've restored the article and started a procedural AfD discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Z. Williamson (2nd nomination). ‑ Iridescent 06:31, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

You deleted a published bestselling author page who has been listed since 2008. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Michael_Z._Williamson — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1010:B018:78FA:9734:44E5:762F:E007 (talk) 06:17, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

And I've suggested a community ban on the subject of the article for harassment at FB. Doug Weller talk 17:16, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
  • It was a good deletion. The article included no claim of significance. None. It literally didn't. Not that Liz was in the wrong to decline, that IP's speedy deletion nomination appears to be trolling, and I would probably have not humored it either, but your deletion was perfectly valid here. Sorry you're being denigrated on Facebook over what should not have been a controversial admin action. It looks like the article will be deleted by the community and the user will be banned. Let me know if you need anything. ~Swarm~ {sting} 20:15, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
