  • Sipalay, not Silay. The airport continues to be an active airstrip. It does appear there, since it's not owned and managed by CAAP, like Amanpulo's aistrip and El Nido's airport (Ayala-owned). A friend posting an image of chartered planes landing there with clearance from Bacolod Tower sometime April and May this year, in time for summer vacation chartered for nearby villas. The most notable landing there is that of Gilbert Teodoro's campaign party last 2010. I'll ask him if he can post the image here as he is a registered user, though inactive. RepublicaNegrense (talk)
  • One more thing, that is not the present terminal of the airport. The current terminal is made with wood and sawali, just like El Nido, but is still functional. My friend has the photos, and I'll ask if he can post that too. RepublicaNegrense (talk)

Re: Official residences in the Philippines edit

Hi! Currently the list of Philippine official residences only includes those of PHL heads of states. How sure are you that these governors mansions or mayors mansions are permanent and transferrable from one admin to the next? Thats what official residences like Malacanang, The Mansion serve as, residences for whoever is the head of state. Those could be just temporary local government buildings which will serve a different purpose or liquidated depending on the wishes of the incumbent. And thats NOT what official residences are.--RioHondo (talk) 09:12, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

    • We normally do categories, templates and list articles of this kind if it involves every province or LGU. But seeing that this is just a select list of random LGUs with "officially designated" mansions, it is a very arbitrary listing to say the least. Most former municipal halls have been official residences as well of the incumbent governor or mayor, such as the Lara House (Las Piñas) and the Baliuag Museum and Library. You might want to add those under "Former."--RioHondo (talk) 09:44, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
      • Oh, okay. Understood, and thanks for the feedback. Will accept your edits if needed, and add those you mentioned too. RepublicaNegrense (talk)
        • Yup, we also have to be careful with WP:OR as this is like very new to Filipino readers (even i have not heard of official residences down to the city or municipal level.) This also needs regular maintenance and update as LGUs arent stable and changes every 3 years. But if you're up for it, then we can keep this listing. Unlike US State mansions tho where every State has a governors residence, ours is very localized and random, and their notability is still questionable. :)--RioHondo (talk) 10:01, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
          • Thank you for your guidance and I appreciate it. I will dedicate a bit of my time updating this and even create new researched articles for existing permanent local official residences without articles yet. :) RepublicaNegrense (talk) 02:21, 22 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:QC Reception House.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:QC Reception House.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 09:26, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Motorjoy Depot Inc. edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Motorjoy Depot Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 02:26, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Typo on "Capitol Central" page? edit

Hello! It seems you authored a page with a word that has been identified as a typo by Typo Team/moss. In the article Capitol Central, the word "hostek" appears. Is this supposed to be "hostel", or something else? (Also, it wasn't clear to me where Capitol Central is; may I suggest moving the reference to Bacolod from the second sentence to the first?) The longest running provincial trade fair in Metro Manila sounds very far from a “non-notable local trade fair,” isn't it? In fact, it's the longest running provincial trade fair in any of the country's metropolitan cities. BUT I agree, I do need to include even more sources and improve it. Kindly give me within 10 days to do so. Thanks! RepublicaNegrense (talk) 17:57, 2 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
