The Listener ... i didn't hear that anywhere edit

So someone from a Polish IP address has put in big chunks of season 3 of The Listener, claiming it premieres in 6 days. The problem is that the show is not on CTV next Saturday and I am in Calgary so i get the modified CTV two schedule that has educational programming in keeping with the station being the public broadcaster of the province. Tribune Media has it listed as a repeat of episode 13. Have you heard/seen anything from Bell, Shaftesbury, the cast, etc. that supports the assertion that season 3 is coming to tv this month? delirious & lost~hugs~ 19:03, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I hope you don't mind too much but considering the course of human history has proven IMDb to be wrong about The Listener and CTV's site currently promotes Lady In The Lake as being broadcast on 21 January i declared the whole thing of season 3 already on tv to be a big lie and removed it whilst filling in some ratings info and a mention of the new US broadcaster for the show. delirious & lost~hugs~ 01:38, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Avengers edit

Hi. You might remember a few years back expanding the List of Randall and Hopkirk actors? An awesome new site has sprung up here I was wondering if you'd be interested in expanding List of The Avengers cast members from List of The Avengers episodes. Imdb and the avengers website has more actors I think. I want a full list. I'm planning on finally filling the red links and sometime starting the Avengers episodes. We owe it to WP:Television! Hell we have episodes on US TV series I've never heard of! Avengers is one of the great British classics.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:16, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

For the Girl Who Has Everything (Randall and Hopkirk Deceased) locations, most interesting. Will have to start that castle. Its fasicnating to me know where they shot every scene and its quite astounding the power of the Internet which has turned up most locations through enough people! They've done a great a deal of research and seem to have contacted ITC and perhaps some executives who had inside information. I've seen some extracts on the R and H site from Dennis Spooner's production board and stuff! This is exactly what wikipedia should be be doing to0. So can you add to List of The Avengers and The New Avengers cast members? I've searched some of the episodes for Avengers in google books and it turns up quite a few potential sources which along with the Avengers site should be enough to start them all.♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:03, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Started Hot Snow (The Avengers).♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:26, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Excellent!♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:15, 8 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, I appreciate it! And of course it stands no chance of being deleted..♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:19, 19 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Would you be interested in helping start some episodes gradually in the format of Conspiracy of Silence (The Avengers)?♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:05, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

A barnstar for you! edit

  The Avengers Barnstar
For your excellent work on the list of actors! May you also be interested in working on the episodes? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:01, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Rollback rights edit

Hello REV, with regards to your message on the Benidorm talk page, I'm quite surprised you've not got the rollback user right. I think you should definitely request it. Any admin can grant it so if you're friendly with one you can ask if they will, if not you can always go to the request page at WP:RFP/R and ask for it. With your edit history you should have no problem with being granted it. It will also allow you to use tools such as STiki to fight vandalism if that interests you. Also just wanted to let you know I have asked admin Calmer Waters to have a look at Benidorm regarding semi protection and am waiting for a response. Fraggle81 (talk) 18:26, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Brazil with Michael Palin edit

I was not accusative, I know most contributors to Wikipedia are not the kind of people who think we had a civil war in Brazil in the last decades or something like that, Brazil may be in the top 25 or 30 of most violent countries for some huge, excessive ammount of time, but people can guess that even with the drug dealers problem (that would be easily dealt with simple recreational drug legalization and further gun control, we have mafia-like organizations but the drug dealers are not mafia, they war between themselves competing for neighbourhoods and aren't skilled in any way), Rio and other southern capitals are among its finest cities. But I find it important to question the factual accuracy of his opinion, actually the articles gives a impression it is giving facts and not quoted opinions to the average reader. Disambiguation link notification for February 2 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Father Brown (TV series), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages William Russell and Anthony Allen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reply to your email edit

It is not unusual, if it is felt that a user's contributions are doubtful, for someone to check up on his other ones: that may seem like harassment, but it is one necessary way that things like vandalism and COI edits are controlled on an anyone-can-edit site. I do not know any of the background of this, but Taram's blatant sockpuppetry certainly provides grounds for looking very closely at his contributions. However, as you can see, one of the two AfDs I looked at resulted in keep despite the socking; one editor alone cannot cause another's work to be removed, and if he makes unreasonable AfD nominations, people commenting will soon tell him so.

If you disagree about the links, or any of the content of these articles, discuss it on the talk page first, and if necessary use WP:Dispute resolution. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:17, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've left a message at WT:TV about this but unfortunately the templates used in the TV project draw little interest, even though they often cause us grief. Speedy deletion nomination of Claudia Jessie edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Claudia Jessie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Thank you for catching the accidental mistake at List of The Musketeers episodes, but might I perhaps suggest asking a user of their intentions first, before reverting and assuming that the mistake was deliberate?
