Your edits

edit

I understand you're a fairly new Wikipedian, and may not be familiar with all of our policies and guidelines. Your edits at Trisha Paytas were WP:PROMOTIONAL, of non-encyclopedic tone, and were not reliably cited — we can't make claims about a third party and cite it solely to the subject's Twitter account. Also, please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Trisha Paytas discography, in which editors reached a consensus with an administrator close to merge Paytas' discography with her article. We cannot unilaterally decide to go against consensus. I'm sure as you continue to edit Wikipedia, you'll understand the procedures more readily. Thank you for contributing.--Tenebrae (talk) 01:10, 2 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits

edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Lana Del Rey, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. —DIYeditor (talk) 03:16, 3 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Octavia St. Laurent, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). File:Love Thy Nature Film Poster.jpg

edit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:12, 3 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

List of unreleased songs recorded by Lana Del Rey moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, List of unreleased songs recorded by Lana Del Rey, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion discussion about Chuck Grant

edit

Hello, Ottamieh,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Chuck Grant should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chuck Grant .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Several things about articles

edit

Hi, I've noticed several things about articles you've created that you should not be doing.

  1. With rare exceptions, basically all songs released today are released for both digital download and streaming. They should both be listed as formats.
  2. Do not use small text in infoboxes, as the size of the text is already decreased, per MOS:SMALLTEXT.
  3. The venue parameter is only for live recordings, not for places songs are mastered or mixed or anything else.
  4. Remember to disambiguate Pitchfork when you link to it. Pitchfork is still about the garden tool.
  5. Stop using semicolons to bold per WP:PSEUDOHEAD. Either user third-level subheadings in the personnel section or bold markup (with three apostrophes).
  6. Do not confuse the New Zealand Top 40 Singles chart (the main chart) with the NZ Hot Singles Chart (which is a component showing the "fastest moving songs" by several metrics), they are two different charts published by Recorded Music NZ. Thanks. Ss112 03:19, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Career of Lana Del Rey

edit

The article Career of Lana Del Rey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This seems to be more succinctly covered in Lana Del Rey, making this page regrettably redundant.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work.
