I saw your questions at WP:RFF. This looks like the beginning of a fine article. I suggest you also look at the structure of established articles about châteaux such as Château de Fontainebleau, Palace of Versailles, Château de Chantilly, etc.

Wikipedia has some "wikiprojects" where people with similar interests help each other. For example, WP:TOURISM would be a good place to ask questions about making articles that also serve as a resource via iPhone. Sharktopus ^talk 23:33, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

"Artistically" photoshopped images

I note you've been adding a large number of "artistically" photoshopped images to articles here. (By this I mean photographs which you've processed with a bitmap graphics editor to add "artistic" filters such as "oil painting" and "posterization".) Could you please replace these images with the original, unprocessed photographs? Images on Wikipedia should be descriptive, not artistic. (Or at least, if the images are artistic, it should not be at the expense of descriptiveness. The image filters you use cause the images to be no longer accurate depictions of their subjects.)

It's also not necessary to include so many photographs in articles; in fact, this actually detracts from the quality of the articles. Please limit your photo contributions to those which provide important and relevant illustrations to the article text. I would suggest removing all but the most salient photographs and then placing at the end of the article a link to a Commons gallery of the rest. —Psychonaut (talk) 08:27, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Tree avenues or tree alleys are planted trees lining straight roadways and entrance drives in order to enhance the approach to country mansions or homes. Creating articles

If you are the only contributor to a page then you can choose to copy-paste the contents instead of moving the page. If there are other contributors then moving the page will keep the page history to give them attribution per license requirements. Step 6 in the article wizard has an option to start a userspace draft instead of a mainspace article.

You can see more about user subpages at Wikipedia:User pages. They can be named anything and you can create multiple subpages. The bottom of your contributions page has a link "Subpages" to show all user subpages: Special:PrefixIndex/User:Mlane78212/. Redirects are in italics so perhaps you already used the draft option in the wizard and later moved to mainspace. The only difference between using the wizard and creating the subpage manually is that the wizard starts the page with a little generic content and some instructions displayed above. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing.
