Account creator edit

After reviewing your request for the "accountcreator" permission, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:

  • The account creator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
  • The account creator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the account creator right will result in its removal by an administrator.

If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the account creator right. Happy editing! ~ Rob13Talk 20:49, 18 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Please only use this right to bypass the throttle. Do not override the antispoof or blacklist checks. Please ping me when your event is completed so I can remove the right. ~ Rob13Talk 20:49, 18 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you!

Requests edit

Done. Enjoy the event. For working with neophytes, I recommend you begin by explaining how Wikipedia defines notability (and thus, which subjects are acceptable), and then go on to what sort of sources are acceptable. DS (talk) 19:24, 17 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Edit-a-thon edit

Meg,

I have been contributing to the Edit-a-thon articles, mostly with techie things like Linkrot, dashes fix, talk page templates and the like. You will see my contributions in the history. Let me know if I can be of any specific help to you.

Help me! edit

Please help me with requesting account creation privileges, please. I'm a librarian who's co-hosting a Black History Month edit-a-thon on Feb. 16th, and would deeply appreciate the ability to create accounts for users for this drop-in event. I only need account creation privileges for Feb. 16th, if that helps.

Meg Meiman (talk) 18:43, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

You can request that permission at WP:PERM/ACC RhinosF1(chat)(status)(contribs) 19:35, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Event coordinator granted edit

After reviewing your request for the "eventcoordinator" permission, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:

  • The event coordinator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
  • The event coordinator right allows you to temporarily add the "confirmed" permission to newly created accounts. You should not grant this for more than 10 days.
  • The event coordinator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the event coordinator right will result in its removal by an administrator.
  • Please note, if you were previously a member of the "account creator" group, your flag may have been converted to this new group.

If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the event coordinator right. Happy editing! — xaosflux Talk 02:20, 12 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Meg Meiman, great to hear your event was a success! If you have more in the future, feel free to stop by WP:PERM again. Happy editing, — xaosflux Talk 18:27, 17 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

February 2023 edit

Hello, I'm BusterD. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Art Monk Construction have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please do not comment inside closed discussions; you may apply your comment to the closer's talk page or apply to deletion review if you think there is some procedural reason the close was invalid. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Art Monk Construction edit

I have already closed the AfD as delete and you arguments are not persuading me to reopen it, because they do not really refute the arguments put forth by those who are !voting to delete on the basis of failure to satisfy either GNG or to NCORP. I am willing to userfy the article for you, if you wish, so that you can look for sources that other wikipedians may have missed, to improve the article, so that it better showcases the notability of Art Monk Construction, but, as things stand, I am not reopening the AfD. Alternatively, you can appeal my close to WP:DRV. Salvio giuliano 15:21, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
