Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs

edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including Stefan Lech Sokołowski, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. Let me know if you need help, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 22:21, 6 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Witam. W wielkim skrócie: wszystko jest na T:TDYK. Otwórz sekcję z datą w osobnej karcie do przyszłej edycji, wypełniarz formularz podstrony, zapamiętaj (tworzy się coś takiego jak Template:Did you know nominations/Freedom of the press in South Korea), a potem go zlinkuj z tej edytowanej sekcji ([1]). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 23:46, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've had to remove references and statements sourced to this website as it is a self published source. Per WP:BLPSPS, self published sources cannot be used for living people. I'm also not sure if this person is notable enough for an article but I'll wait for a bit. CommanderLinx (talk) 05:11, 2 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Jadwiga Szubartowicz

edit

On 18 April 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jadwiga Szubartowicz, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Jadwiga Szubartowicz (pictured), the oldest living Pole, witnessed the October Revolution? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jadwiga Szubartowicz. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Jadwiga Szubartowicz), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
