Hello, JeremyA. Please check your email; you've got mail!

User:OZODOR is currently requesting an unblock - my proposed unblock conditions are on his talkpage. One of them is that he enter into an informal mentorship arrangement with an experienced user; he chose you (and has sent you an email about it). I'm more than happy with that, especially since you know the account's history, but you're under no obligation to accept. Yunshui  23:28, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Revdel

Thanks for deleting those revisions. However, the 17:33, 9 January 2013‎ and 17:39, 9 January 2013‎ full page diffs still show those edits so they should be deleted as well.--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 18:15, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

User:OZODOR

He's now unblocked. Welcome - unexpectedly - to the world of user adoption! You've been here for just about forever, and so I'm sure you'll have no problems looking after him. The form that your mentorship takes is entirely up to you - you can just keep an eye on his editing and slap him upside the head if he fouls up, you can set him a series of Challenge Anneka style tasks, or you can put him through an adoption school (feel free to steal part or all of mine, Worm That Turned's, John F. Lewis' or any other adopters'). Thank you for taking the task on; hopefully you'll add a productive editor to the ranks. Yunshui  22:27, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

DuSable

I was wondering if you were aware of this "recent update" on Dusble? [1] (look at link in box.) We have previously discussed this general source awhile ago. The entry is copyrighted 2006 but the update lists this month? At any rate it seems to assert new information about DuSable being from Southern Illinois (ie. Illinois Country)). I thought you might want to take a look at it given your FA nomination. Alanscottwalker (talk) 22:43, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Re:Adoption

Thanks Jeremy! I really don't upload images that often (to Wikipedia of course), but I will notify you soon because I will need some images in the future from Flickr! Thanks again though! ChicagoWiz 23:38, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

RFC-withdrawal closure

Could you close my RFC at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation#2nd order disambiguation by birth date - RFC. I seem to have defined the wrong scope of the issue and posted it at the wrong page, according to the feedback I am getting. I would like to withdraw my RFC nomination.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:09, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

New message at User:JeremyA/Adopt/OZODOR

Dear Jeremy, I have added a new section to the adoption page and respond ASAP or whenever you get a chance! ChicagoWiz 18:45, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi Jeremy; I've looked at a bunch of these prospective uploads and all those I've checked are not CC-BY-SA compatible (they're all CC-BY-NC or ND). I'm sure you'd have spotted it too, but thought I'd save you the trouble; obviously, please don't upload them. You may also want to have a word with your adoptee about trying to use you to get around the conditions of his unblock. Yunshui  20:55, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

User talk:2.25.96.233

Hello. I am writing because of the message I received about your change to a supposedly mine contribution about Essex. Neither I or any other people sharing this IP ever made any contributions to the Essex page, or to any page at all.

Also, my wifi has a password and it is very unlikely that anyone connected to my wifi without my knowledge.

Therefore I would like to know: 1) are there other contributions coming from this IP address? 2) does often happen that people use fake IPs to make contributions? 3) may it be a Wikipedia mistake in identifying the IP? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.25.96.233 (talk) 11:06, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

For your contributions to bring Sheffield (estimated annual readership: 503,000) to Good Article status, I hereby present you the Half Million Award. Congratulations, and thanks for all you do for Wikipedia's readers! -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:10, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

The Million Award is a new initiative to recognize the editors of Wikipedia's most-read content; you can read more about the award and its possible tiers (Quarter Million Award, Half Million Award, and Million Award) at Wikipedia:Million Award. You're also welcome to display this userbox:

This editor won the Half Million Award for bringing Sheffield to Good Article status.

If I've made any error in this listing, please don't hesitate to correct it; if for any reason you don't feel you deserve it, please don't hesitate to remove it; if you know of any other editor who merits one of these awards, please don't hesitate to give it; if you yourself deserve another award from any of the three tiers, please don't hesitate to take it! Cheers, -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:10, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

AfD

Given this edit (through the way-back machine), I thought you might be interested in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eric Ian Hornak Spoutz. No doubt the article is now significantly different--actually, I'm guessing, I haven't looked at the version you saw. Drmies (talk) 15:45, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. I guess that I should have kept an eye on this editor for longer than I did.—Jeremy (talk) 16:07, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Oh, I intended no criticism. I was happy to find your comment. Drmies (talk) 17:32, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Why was the Ribbon and Logo section deleted?

The Ribbon and Logo page for (Adiposa dolorosa)have been deleted. The images are free/open to use by www.hanleycreative.com Dercumsdiseaseandresearch (talk) 03:11, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

@Dercumsdiseaseandresearch: I deleted the text of this section because it was not written in a manner appropriate to an encyclopedia (all caps; promotional tone), and it did not cite a reliable third party source. As we don't usually have sections in articles that just include a single image, I removed the image as well.—Jeremy (talk) 03:15, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

@JeremyA: What do I need to do to reinstate the photos? (Also, I don't recall having all caps?) These are my original artwork. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dercumsdiseaseandresearch (talkcontribs) 03:51, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

@Dercumsdiseaseandresearch: Have these images been used in third party reliable sources in relation to Adiposa dolorosa? If not using them in Wikipedia article would constitute original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. —Jeremy (talk) 03:57, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

To jeremy

I recently added an article about my teacher. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't delete it like you did on my last one! I really want this to be out there so people can read MY opinion about her. Please respond so that I know you received this and read it. Thanks. --Flowerpower571 (talk) 02:42, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

An Article

Hi Jeremy, I am really have a hard time creating this article for an actor who was written poorly without any reliable notable source. I have the written but there been so many written articles about this actor. Some misleading, not even about the actor himself. I see it's been create numerous times and it has placed an automatic filter block. I would like to complete this article if possible? I can also send you the article via email and you can publish the actor yourself?!! I would love your feedback, thanks! 162.229.92.82 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 22:57, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
