Crystal Frasier

Thank you for all your work to improve Crystal Frasier. :) I had that article on User:BOZ/Draft pages for a while; if you see anything else there which you would be interested in improving, that would be greatly appreciated.  :) BOZ (talk) 16:02, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Sure! I was really excited to see she wrote Venus Envy too, which I found out by accident, which hopefully will come back soon (she has hinted that in the last couple years). I'll definitely look at your draft pages, for sure, thanks for sharing. I have a bunch of draft pages too for Lumberjanes, ZooPhobia, Port by the Sea, and Far-Fetched but I should probably organize them better as you have and move most of those into the draft space. --Historyday01 (talk) 16:10, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia

Thank you for turning Assigned Male into an article. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution. You added a link to Sophie Labelle in the edit summary when you expanded Assigned Male, which is the most important step. It would be helpful if you'd also add {{Copied}} to the talk pages of both articles, including the revision numbers. This ensures that pages with their attribution history won't be deleted.

On a separate topic, did you know there's a setting in preferences (under Gadgets > Appearance) to turn DAB links orange? For most people this makes them much easier to spot, so they can be fixed while you're editing the page. It helps reduce the notes from DPL bot. Cheers, BlackcurrantTea (talk) 07:54, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

I can do that, but I already noted that in the edit summary when creating the article, so I thought it was sufficient enough. I did not know that for the DAB links, but I get stuff from the DPL bot all the time. The way around that is to make sure that the links to the pages are going where to the page where they are supposed to go.--Historyday01 (talk) 13:21, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Note about move requests

I see you have requested several moves recently. Just a note: You can request multiple articles in the same request if they have similar reasons, like what is done at Talk:Birth (anime). Have a good day! Link20XX (talk) 04:15, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

Hmm, that is a good idea. I could consolidate them into one move, or set of moves. I would have moved the articles manually, as it seems like a pretty non-controversial move in line with the existing consensus (LGBTQ to LGBT), but it didn't let me, so I requested the moves. --Historyday01 (talk) 13:07, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

@CommanderWaterford, I'm not sure what you mean by the first two sources not mentioning her. That is not true. The first one DOES mention her:

From Vivienne Medrano, the talented artist behind the drawings and animations on the YouTube channel, Vivziepop, Hazbin Hotel portrays all of the quirky, ambitious, and dark humor that Vivienne has become synonymous with.

The second one mentions her too:

Independent animator Vivziepop has lit up YouTube with her pilots Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, which have earned some warranted criticism for their immature, edgy humor but are at least clear labors of love from an animation standpoint.

I wonder if you even read those articles, carefully. I can add sources in the fifth section, but I didn't think that was needed as that is noted in the main text, as sources aren't there for pages like Dana Terrace and Molly Ostertag, but whatever, man. This rejection does increase my skepticism of the draft process and I probably won't use it in the future, other than for the other articles out there. I would encourage you to add better sources, if you feel there are ones that are "unreliable" or "too close to the subject." While I'd be fine with "less sources," finding "better ones" is a challenge.Historyday01 (talk) 17:46, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
@Historyday01 It is not the task of an AfC reviewer to add better sources, this is task of the creator and for sure you will have to referencev via Wikipedia:Inline citation the works for which she was allegedly responsible. CommanderWaterford (talk) 18:03, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
Sigh, she was responsible for them. I guess I'll just remove a bunch of stuff then, and re-submit it, since I have no other option as it will get rejected again. Historyday01 (talk) 18:05, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Queering Wikipedia 2021 User Group Working Days: May 14–16

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 02:45, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

Cool, @User:Pharos. I'll definitely take a look at that. Thanks for sharing! Historyday01 (talk) 03:20, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

Thanks

Omg man THANKS so much for revising my edit, I worked like 1 hour on it and it kinda hurt my feelings when the dude said that, and also I mean it kinda does count as seasons depending on who runs the show IMO. And also thanks for sending me a thanks if that makes any sense lol DogetimeeAKABlueyFan (talk) 01:05, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Sure! I was also planning to see if I could add a reception section, like with other animated shows, too. There's always someone who wants to remove stuff like that, unfortunately. These independent shows really need more attention. --Historyday01 (talk) 01:15, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Exactly 👏 DogetimeeAKABlueyFan (talk) 01:34, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

I can start on the first part, if you’d like. I’ll just include IMDb and other stuff. DogetimeeAKABlueyFan (talk) 01:37, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Sure, that sounds good. I don't think IMDB can be used per WP:RSPSRC (a link to it can be added at the end, except there's probably enough links there already), but Rotten Tomatoes can be, although not in this case. Historyday01 (talk) 03:33, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
So far, found some seemingly good articles in Ten Eighty Magazine, The Young Folks, and TubeFilter. This could be added somewhere in the main article.

Hello!

Thank you for giving me thanks for my edit on LGBT representation in American adult animation.   I kind of rushed the edit, though, I may go back and clean it up later. Also, I just realized that we are mutuals on Twitter, lol. Wizzito (talk) 10:46, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Oh cool. Yeah, there was a new episode of Final Space with a lesbian character, but I haven't seen any articles about it yet, so as soon as I see one, I'll add that in too. Tribore is called "genderfluid" on the wiki for the show, which isn't surprising as Tribore literally went into labor in one ep. Historyday01 (talk) 13:30, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

A kitten for you!

Thanks for working on those asexuality-related articles and categories.

Archives

Hi, you recently put a discussion in the archives on Talk:Twelve Forever after previously deleted it most pages will auto-archives when needed too you do not need to delete or self-archive a talk page yourself if you think a page archive is not working bring it up on the teahouse

Of course your archive is up to you (I personally achieve when the page is over 100K Fan Of Lion King 🦁 (talk) 17:09, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Fan Of Lion King, I probably shouldn't have deleted it in the first place, that's my bad, so thanks for bringing that to my attention. But, I thought an archive would be better as no one has commented on it since October of last year. I honestly don't trust pages to auto-archive, as many pages I've seen don't even have a talk page archive section (or any comments on the talk page at all) so I usually just do it manually. --Historyday01 (talk) 17:24, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Akira on List of animated series with LGBT characters: 2015–2019

The list of crossdressing characters is a much more appropriate place for that bit, yeah. Presenting as a man while hiding she is a woman is not the same as being genderqueer, which refers to identification and not presentation.[1] The text about characters finding out her "true gender" and that she presents as male because her mother asked her to both support the reading that she identifies as a woman and not as genderqueer. CaribouFanfare (talk) 20:14, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

Yeah, that makes sense. I'll move the entry over there shortly. I purposely made the page for instances like this, where I don't want to get rid of the character entry, but it falls more into an area of cross-dressing than any specific identity. I just wanted to hear what you had to say on this before making the move. And if you are ever planning to watch that series, good luck! Its...pretty mature and problematic in some ways. --Historyday01 (talk) 02:56, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

Gwen Berry

Your recent editing history at Gwen Berry shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Picard's Facepalm (talk) 23:49, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

Ok. As I said before, if you are that interested in adding the content (which I personally don't think is that helpful to the article), find some better sources! I mean, if the story is covered on Fox News, it is bound to be covered somewhere else too, especially for someone like Gwen Berry, as media outlets tend to cover the same topic, and have a better article on the topic. I also suggest you post on the talk page of Gwen Berry and say why this content should be added. Historyday01 (talk) 01:16, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
Done. Additionally - there were 2 other cited sources... you dismissed all 3 (including fox news), despite all 3 meeting WP:RS. That is not conduct in WP:AGF. We can continue the discussion on the Berry talk page. Picard's Facepalm (talk) 01:35, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
