New MPs edit

Hi there, I agree that there are becoming too many candidates listed, especially with list candidates such as the Green biographies. Unfortunately we have lost ipredict which was of a great help last election, as you can see here, but once the party lists are out it will be easier to prioritise biographies. Proposed deletion of Leighton Baker edit

The article Leighton Baker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NPOL

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Redirects edit

Hi again! Glad you expanded the taiko reserve page with the information on Evelyn! Anyway, what's the purpose of the redirects with what seems like the wikidata numbers? originalmesshow u doin that busta rhyme? 04:44, 27 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi originalmesshow u doin that busta rhyme?! It's my attempt to tell the bots that manage The Women In Red project lists that this person shouldn't be in the list of red links. For example, after creating a page (that was a redirect) for Evelyn Tuanui, the Women In Red list bot didn't consider Tuanui to have a page, but instead declared that there was a red link called "Evelyn Tuanui (Q66789555)". So I made this new page it had invented also redirect to the same place. Redirects are cheap as per WP:CHEAP. That said, I don't think by approach actually worked - the red links for NZ women still lists her, albeit as a blue link? I don't know how to train the bot to recognise that Evelyn Tuanui has a (redirect) page and doesn't need any more work. HenryCrun15 (talk) 20:24, 29 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Internet Party (New Zealand) edit

This party was deregistered by the Electoral Commission, which does not affect whether it exists or not. It can go out of existence only after a dissolution after a formal decision by the board to dissolve it. Lack of activity, lack of updating websites, etc, means nothing. I can find no source stating that the party has been dissolved. Akld guy (talk) 23:05, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Akld guy, thanks for your comments. I fully agree that deregistration isn't proof of a party ceasing to exist. I hope I took care, in the article itself, to only state the facts that I found, and not present my own opinions on whether the party exists or not. HenryCrun15 (talk) 02:00, 18 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
I see no suggestion in your edit of an opinion on its existence. It was the edit summary that caught my eye. Akld guy (talk) 07:08, 18 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Evelyn Tuanui (Q66789555). Since you had some involvement with the Evelyn Tuanui (Q66789555) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. -- Tavix (talk) 03:23, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Nicola Willis edit

Hi HenryCrun15, thanks for your edits. Just wanted to raise the matter of your edit to Nicola Willis following the release of the final results of the 2020 New Zealand general election. It's not right to simply remove a reference when some information has been superseded by recent developments. The best way to updating an article is to find a source containing the updated information. Hope this helps and wish you all the best. Andykatib 07:50, 6 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Andykatib, thanks for your message. I've looked back at my edit and it appears I accidentally left a statement completely unreferenced. That was not my intention. I apologise for that error, and I see you've already fixed it, thank you.

RE: Girly edit

The article needs to meet the criteria. It is undersourced, needs a better structure and the current sections are incomplete. Polar (webcomic), Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness and Gunshow (webcomic) are examples of C-class webcomics. (CC) Tbhotch 01:37, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for that @Tbhotch:. In that case I don't think the article can reach C-class because there simply aren't any more sources to add. HenryCrun15 (talk) 02:14, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
