License tagging for File:Werleman.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Werleman.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Werleman.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Werleman.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:07, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Armando Marenzzi edit

The article Armando Marenzzi has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Sources edit

When adding information to articles, as you did with Vlado Zadro, please ensure that you include reliable sources that can be used to verify the information. It is also very important that the information is presented neutrally and not contain personal opinion. Thank you, --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 13:53, 21 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Falsely licensed images edit

Inserting other people's work into Wikipedia without permission or attribution is unacceptable. Copyright infringement and plagiarism pose serious moral, legal, and reputation problems. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Issoufou alhassane.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Issoufou alhassane.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 08:33, 24 October 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:33, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

July 2012 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Alhassane Issoufou. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.--Oleola (talk) 13:49, 9 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Cabrera.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Cabrera.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (tc) 02:07, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ethiopia national football team edit

Great work on this article. If you keep concentrating on the stats, and I work the text well, I think we can get this article to GA before Africa Cup of Nations. Then hopefully by World Cup Qualifiers this summer to FA. Let's keep the hard work going.

My mission this week is to get the entire article cited properly. If you see any sentences that should be cited or any stats that need a reference checked please mark them with {{cn}} and I will get on it.

If you could work on the External links, that would be great. Most of the links should be cut out. They are inappropriate. Try to link official sites like FIFA and EFF. አቤል ዳዊት (Janweh) (talk) 22:51, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I'm working on the french version of Ethiopian national football team, and my goal is to bring the article to a label (Good Artcile, I think it will be hard to go to Quality article). I have difficulties to find sources and illustrations to complete the page, so perhaps we can work together. In the beginning, (5th of january) I translated your english article to French and after that, I worked by myself, using Internet research and Commons. You can pick on the french version to make completion if you want and go to my discussion page to talk about it. 2022 LINAFOOT (Chad) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, 2022 LINAFOOT (Chad), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:34, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
