editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Kadaikutty Singam (TV series)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 16:43, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Shivani Narayanan
editHello Giriprasad Damodar 02,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Shivani Narayanan for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Riya Manoj
editHello Giriprasad Damodar 02,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Riya Manoj for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Shabana Shajhan moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Shabana Shajhan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 16:22, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. DMySon 17:31, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

Copyright violation
editSome of the content added at Shivani Narayanan was stolen from here and here. Do not copy content from other sources. This is intellectually dishonest and is also a copyright violation. Get up to speed on our copyright policy ASAP. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:34, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
Also, we don't describe women's bodies in encyclopedia articles. That's just straight-up sexist. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:36, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- If you restore these copyright violations again, I will interrupt your editing privileges. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:05, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username JJPMaster, and I thank you for your contributions.

Speedy deletion nomination of Alya Manasa
editHello, Giriprasad Damodar 02,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Alya Manasa, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
Stop recreating Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan in live space. If you want to work on the existing version at Draft:Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, that's fine, but you need to submit that through the AFC process. Your repeated recreation of this article in live space, against community consensus, is disruptive, and if you do it again, or prematurely move a draft article to that space again, I will pull your editing privileges.
Note also that per WP:PAID, if you are being paid to edit at Wikipedia, you must disclose this fact, along with who your employer is, who your client(s) is/are, and any other relevant information. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:09, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

Block
editWikipedia works by cooperation and, whenever possible, consensus. When a discussion has reached a clear agreement that a particular article is not suitable for inclusion it is not constructive for one editor to decide to ignore that agreement and unilaterally re-create the article. You have now re-created such a deleted article three times, including twice after you had been informed on this page that doing so was unacceptable. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, continuing to do the same things after being told about the relevant policies and guidelines is a different matter. You have also ignored other messages on this page, continuing to do things you had been informed were contrary to Wikipedia policies; for example, you have continued to remove speedy deletion tags from pages you have created, not only after you had been told that doing so is unacceptable, but even after you had been warned that if you continued to do so you would be likely to be blocked from editing.
In view of the above, you will not be surprised to learn that you have been blocked from editing. The block is for just three days. I hope that will be enough to convey to you that you must edit in accordance with Wikipedia policies and guidelines. If after the block is over you continue in the same way then you are likely to be blocked for much longer, perhaps even indefinitely.
If you believe there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock. To do so, read the guide to appealing blocks, and then add the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of this page. JBW (talk) 23:21, 28 December 2020 (UTC) January 2021

. DMacks (talk) 10:55, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Sockpuppet investigation
editAn editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Giriprasad Damodar 02, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
