Net. Gross of films edit

Firstly, thank you very much for the barnstar you gave me, that's my first barnstar.

Secondly, I'm confused with the values that Nehapant19 mentioned regarding the income of Dhoom 3. The Box office section of the article states that currently it has gained 217 crore (with reference of Box Office India) but that user have mentioned that it has gained 228 crore (without reference), articles like List of highest-grossing Bollywood films, Bollywood Hundred Crore Club also contains the same information.

Finally, What shall we do ? I think we must change everything to 217 crore along with the reference. What do you think ?

But it also brought sad movements like the death of Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela to Cyclones like Phailin, Haiyan etc.

Notability for websites edit

I've deleted the pages because ultimately notability has to be proven through coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Just existing does not give notability, nor does popularity. All popularity means is that the website has traffic, which could make it more likely that the website will gain coverage. Offhand, I didn't see anything out there. I would also have to question its status as "the second largest Hindi box office website in India", as its Alexa rankings are quite low for such a claim. Your contributed article, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Prem Ratan Dhan Payo – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Skr15081997 (talk) 08:05, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

April 2014 edit

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Ranbir Kapoor. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 10:03, 27 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

GearsOfWar, the way I see it, you are potentially editing and removing major content from articles and changing Manual of styles without achieving any kind of consensus. You need to achieve it by discussing in the talk pages and then compromise. If you continue like this your edits will be considered distuptive and might even be reported to administrators. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 10:12, 27 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Neighbours Theatrical poster,14 mars 2014.jpg.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:''Neighbours Theatrical poster,14 mars 2014.jpg''.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:37, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Flag icons in infoboxes edit

Please stop adding flag icons to infoboxes, as WP:INFOBOXFLAG states that flag icons should not be used in infoboxes, even when there is a "country", "nationality" or equivalent field: they are unnecessarily distracting and give undue prominence to one field among many.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, you may be blocked from editing. Gaijin42 (talk) 20:06, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I dont seem to see any reason why to block me,you can check all my past edits,if you find me in a disruptive editing i'll leave wikipedia for ever,i just did it today because that user wanted to remove my article while i didnt see any reason why,you can check the article here Science fiction disaster film

Decline reason:

I find you engaged in a lot of disruptive editing (read the discussion here), though leaving Wikipedia "for ever" is your own choice. I'm particularly disturbed not only that you were so disruptive, but that you don't understand how you were disruptive. -- Atama 21:09, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I nominated the article for deletion. You disagree. You may be right, but once nominated for AFD the process will be followed. You removed the AFD notice from the article, which is disruptive. You nominated one of my articles for PROD to make a WP:POINT, which is disruptive. You replaced it after I removed it, which is further disruptive. You may be confused because I removed the prod template, and you removed the AFD template, but they are not the same thing. Anyone may remove a PROD template, as Wikipedia:PROD #2 shows. You then further made a threat. Thats a lot of disruption.

As I said, you are more than welcome to your opinion that the article should not be deleted. You may be right, and other users will make that decision by evaluating our respective arguments and the relevant policies. Creating the article wasn't disruptive, nor was disagreeing with my nomination. The other actions were, and that is why you are blocked. Gaijin42 (talk) 21:05, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

(I just edit conflicted with Gaijin42S and Atama, but perhaps it is useful to hear it from someone you aren't mad at:

Here's what's going on, GearsOfWar65:

  1. Any editor is allowed to propose any other article for deletion, using WP:Articles for Deletion. If that happens, the decision is made based on a 7 day discussion. You are not allowed to remove the AFD template, nor shut down the discussion.
  2. I understand this is annoying, but I find it hard to believe you don't understand that "I'm a soldier and I'm going to make your life a living hell" is an unacceptable response to having an article nominated for deletion. If you really don't understand that, then you are not going to last here for very long. But I suspect that you do understand that... right?
  3. Article deletion is complicated; there are several different processes, and it takes a while (and some reading) to understand them. But you are just reverting and templating without understanding.

So step one: Do you understand what I'm saying? --Floquenbeam (talk) 21:11, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

[[User:|Floquenbeam]] It seems like there are too many of those lost 5 minutes these days. They are starting to add up! :( Gaijin42 (talk) 21:20, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Siddharth Gupta edit

Hello GearsOfWar65,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Siddharth Gupta for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mabalu (talk) 22:28, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
