Template:S-line/QD right/8 and Template:S-line/XA left/9

Hey, you've created Template:S-line/QD right/8 and Template:S-line/XA left/9 but haven't used them anywhere. Are they not needed? Gonnym (talk) 09:03, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

I made the templates because there are a few articles (e.g. Qingdao North railway station, Fangzhicheng station) which use these templates in their infoboxes. Dpm853 (talk) 09:21, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

Sometimes the articles which are supposed to use these line templates haven't been created yet hence why they remain unused. Most Chinese subway lines on Wikipedia have these line templates for station infoboxes even if they are not currently used in any articles. Dpm853 (talk) 09:34, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

I see. There are currently only 5 s-line templates recently created which are unused. Try and not create templates before they are actually needed. If a template is unused it appears on database reports and in general it just isn't useful. Gonnym (talk) 10:00, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
