Hi Detlef! Thanks again for joining WP:1lib1ref! Just a quick note, saw this on Arandis, Namibia: The parameters |last= and |first= in template {{cite}} are supposed to hold the name of the author of the source, not your own name. Jessaja Mweshipopya moved to draftspace

Hi Detlef (also pinging Celestina007 for courtesy)! I don't think the notability is much of an issue here. Specifically the second external link (WM 2020) is an article that covers the person in detail, confirms the second place in group B, and says that he's one of the best in Namibia. The first external link (WM 2012), on the other hand, is a textbook example of a "mention in passing", not really supporting much more than his participation.

However, we have a policy on Biographies of living people. Essentially it says that you can't write anything about him that isn't supported by references. So whatever you wrote from memory, has to go for now. Please also consider that you have a conflict of interest in the topic. Need help

Hallo Peter, Ich bin ziemlich frustriert, weil mein Artikel wieder abgelehnt wurde. Ich weiß, dass ich noch viel lernen muss, aber ich habe gesehen, dass die Person , die meine Seite abgelehnt hat viel negative komentare bekommen hat, weil Artikel abgelehnt wurden. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich deshalb noch weiter Zeit investiere um das Editieren zu lernen. Hallo Detlef, ich schau mir das mal an. Generell ist es besser, den Draft selbst in den Artikelnamensraum zu verschieben, wenn er fertig ist, anstatt auf irgendeinen Editor zu warten, der dann entscheidet, wie es ihm beliebt.---Nur, wenn wie in diesem Fall ein Artikel von dort nach Draft: verschoben wurde, ist es fischig, ihn selbst zurueckzuverschieben. Artikel, die Du ueber Deine Mannschaft schreibst, sind extra problematisch und werden daher extra hart beurteilt, und dass Dein Name im Text auftaucht, triggert jeden nur erdenklichen Alarm. Zu Recht, denn Wikipedia hat eh ein Problem mit impliziter Werbung.

Ohne jetzt heftig missionieren zu wollen: Mein Ansatz ist komplett anders: Ich deklariere meine Interessenkonflikte sofort, auch an Stellen, wo ich dazu nicht verpflichtet bin. Siehe z.B. Talk:Anicia Peters, Talk:Andrew Niikondo. Fuer Niikondo habe ich auch bei der Qualitaetskontrolle (Template:Did you know nominations/Andrew Niikondo) sofort die Karten aufgedeckt, und auf meiner Benutzerseite stehen die Interessenkonflikte noch einmal parallel.

Ich werd den Artikel erstmal zurechtstutzen. Ob ich ihn selbst zurueckverschieben kann, muss ich mir erst anlesen, schliesslich habe ich ja auch einen Interessenkonflikt---nicht mit Mweshipopya, aber mit Dir. Ich meld mich nochmal, beste Gruesse, Pgallert (talk) 13:54, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

Okay, ich denke, jetzt sieht der Artikel ordentlich aus. Wie gesagt, ob ich ihn selbst verschieben kann, muss ich erst herausfinden. Ein Problem ist da allerdings immernoch: Der Artikel "schwebt im Raum", denn man kann ihn von keinem Platz aus sinnvoll verlinken (technisch: ein WP:ORPHAN). Der Grund ist, dass es alle Artikel, die zu Mweshipopya verzweigen koennten, ebenfalls nicht gibt. Eine normale Hierarchie saehe so aus:

• Ice stock sport
  • Ice stock sport in Namibia
    • List of ice stock sport players in Namibia
      • Jessaja Mweshipopya

Oder auch so:

• Sport in Namibia
  • Sport in Windhoek
    • Windhoek Bowling Club
      • Jessaja Mweshipopya

Wie Du siehst, existieren die Dach-Artikel noch gar nicht, und Ice stock sport selbst ist eine fuerchterliche Baustelle ohne eine einzige nuetzliche Quelle. Vielleicht willst Du Dich ja daran mal versuchen? Neue Artikel am besten erst in Deiner Sandbox, und dann schau ich drueber. Beste Gruesse, Pgallert (talk) 07:22, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
