Speedy deletion nomination of JusticeSystemAI

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on JusticeSystemAI requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Uhai (talk · contribs) 02:29, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

If this topic is as important as you claimed in your contested deletion, then prove it by providing citations to reliable sources that will satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 03:54, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Rings of Maye

edit

Hello, Cygnius

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rings of Maye for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Caliber Rings

edit

Hello Cygnius,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username 0xDeadbeef, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Caliber Rings for deletion, because it appears to be about something that you or someone you know personally invented, coined, or discovered, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important and/or recognized enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|0xDeadbeef}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hoaxes

edit

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:42, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Cygnius,'
You can't just make stuff up because you think it exists. Every claim in an article on science needs to be supported by reliable sources. If mainstream scientists don't believe it exists, then it doesn't exist on Wikipedia. We are not the place for the "cutting edge" or speculation, our articles are supported by establishment science.
If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:57, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Liz it's a simple physical feature.. no doubt at all that it exists.. it's called the accretion disk, it forms around all rotating bodies of significant mass.. just dust and other material..Liz you need to quit sending me messages now, you sent me like four or five.. I want you to stop, go find something else to do. Cygnius (talk) 05:14, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Cerberus Optical Network

edit

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Draft:Cerberus Optical Network, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

You are here to improve the encyclopedia, not to introduce false information

edit

Hi Cygnius. Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia. These articles, "Rings of Maye", among others, are not commonly used names in the real world. I also saw that you created an autobiography, which is oftentimes problematic and it could be deleted if published as an article.

I hope you can take your time to familiarize yourself with what we do here at Wikipedia. The getting started page is a good place to start. After that, you could take a look at Wikipedia:Contributing to Wikipedia and Wikipedia:Task Center. 0xDeadbeef 08:08, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

@0xDeadbeef please stop contacting me. this is not a hoax. it's not deceptive. the Rings of May are a NAME for Earth's ACCRETION DISK which exists right now as a function of a rotating body of significant mass. every rotating body of significant mass collects gas dust and debris into a flat plane 90° from the axis of rotation. if you'd like me to add that to the definition I will.. but it's already in an accretion disks definition.. which is available on Wikipedia. this is a name for our accretion disk.. accretion disk is a natural phenomenon.. like the word earthquake.. or the Northridge earthquake.. a name referring to a particular earthquake. do you see? Cygnius (talk) 09:04, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Cygnius: Effective communication is a requirement. The name you gave to the accretion disk is not notable because no one uses those names. I already said, they are not used names in the real world. I hope you can stay here, but if you continue to create articles like this you will likely be blocked, just warning you. 0xDeadbeef 09:08, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@0xDeadbeef effective communication means that you should do your own research.. The IAU office of astronomy in Cape Town, and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.. Harvard University, and others as well are giving the the designation. Cygnius (talk) 10:03, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Cygnius: Listing names do not work. There are no reliable and attributable sources that support the claim that you are making. I have a feeling that you are not actually here to build an encyclopedia. If you really wanted to help, try checking the few links me and my colleagues have given you. Otherwise, I would rather you to leave the site than to continue such a behavior of creating hoaxes. 0xDeadbeef 10:22, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@0xDeadbeef this feels argumentative and deliberately offensive. there is a way to file a complaint against you for abuse of the talk section.. it's 3:00 in the morning here, there is no reason for you to repeatedly contact me. 'Listing names do not work. There are no reliable and attributable sources that support the claim that you are making. " these sentences are nonsense. The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, is reliable and attributable. please familiarize yourself what an accretion disk is.. you will find on Wikipedia that it describes.. a rotating astronomical body of significant mass, will attract dust and gas, due to its rotation, it will be subject to centrifugal force, this is simple physics, spend a ball with water on it... you can observe it yourself, in a common sink. the Earth has an accretion disk, even if it's not filled with material.. water may be difficult to see, under certain circumstances yet it is still there.. if you're not able to fully understand this message please ask someone else, before commenting. Cygnius (talk) 16:15, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'll also comment that Earth's accretion disk is filled with material.. in the form of less dence dust and gas.. the regional gravity holds the material, just like on the surface of the planet we can jump and not fly off the surface, we are still pulled back due to gravity.. there's a region of mitigation of forces, which holds material. eventually the material will be pulled to the planet's surface. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
You have repeatedly created hoax articles about topics that do not appear in the scientific literature. Cullen328 (talk) 19:42, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Stay off my Commons talk page. Any unblock requests must take place right here, carefully following the instructions in the block notice. Cullen328 (talk) 20:07, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Cullen328 says: "Stay off my Commons talk page".. this feels argumentative and deliberately offensive and have nothing to do with Wikipedia's quality and is detrimental to it's value. Cygnius (talk) 22:18, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

The articles I think he is referring to:
1) Rings of Maye(Earth's accretion disk)
2) Caliber Rings(Mar's accretion disk)
3) Cerberus Optical Network(NSF Grant project with the USAF) THIS WAS A DRAFT
These are not obviously not hoaxes.

Viscous accretion disk models
The generation of viscous accretion disk models was an active area of research during the period when convective instability was believed to be an effective source of viscosity. Ruden and Pollack (1991) constructed models where convective instability was assumed to control the evolution, so that in regions where the disk became optically thin and thus convectively stable, the effective viscosity vanished. Starting with an α of ∼0.01, they found that disks evolved for about a million years before becoming optically thin, often leaving behind a disk with a mass of ∼0.1 solar mass.

So a RING is in a DISK.. just like Saturn's RINGS, Saturn has an accretion disk.. Ring and Disk.. Saturn's RINGS
This is NOT FALSE.
Please immediately restore my account and the DELETED pages.. you were mistaken and you have caused me a lot of trouble, that is harmful to our goals. Cygnius (talk) 22:33, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Cygnius: No one is here to argue whether what "Rings of Maye" refers to exists. In addition, no one is around that wants to hear whether "Rings of Maye" should exist as an article. Experienced editors have searched for those terms and believed that such term is not notable. If you truly want to be unblocked, tell us how you plan to improve the encyclopedia instead of arguing about the names that only you care about. 0xDeadbeef 01:06, 25 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
There are a couple problems with your statements, you do not speak for "everyone".. hardly! you are speaking for "0xDEADBEEF" only, correct? Right.. other people have the right to make the decisions for themselves. That ADDS value to Wikipedia, censorship by removing content which you personally don't understand, removes value.
1) A flying disk, is a thing.. there is a brand "name" which is commonly used, Frisbee. It's a particular family of flying disks, by one manufacturer.
2) FreeBSD is a name for a variant of Linux. Is it Linux, YES, is it called something more specific, YES.
3) Many astronomical bodies have orbiting counterparts, EARTH's is a moon and it's name is LUNA.
4) Our local star, is called the Sun.. and it's name is SOL. They have various other names, in different languages.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accretion_disk exists naturally, indisputably. One exists around OUR HOME PLANET called Maye's Ring or Rings of Maye.. our HOME PLANET is called Earth, all of it's natural; features are noteworthy. I think it needs it's own page, due to it's discovery and, due to it's future interest as HUMANITY goes back to our Moon:
SLS will lift off from its launch pad on 29 August and propel into space a small, uncrewed capsule that is capable of carrying astronauts. That capsule, called Orion, will fly around the Moon — farther than any spacecraft built for humans has ever gone — and return to Earth 42 days later. - Nature.com
This is a new bit of information which is a current news item, this adds value to Wikipedia.

@0xDeadbeef you're going to have to use more plain language, I don't understand what you're saying.. where is the Wikipedia page for Earth's accretion disk? is it on planet Earth's Wikipedia page? I don't think so.. does it have its own page?.. does the scientific community acknowledge that we have an accretion disk or that it's of any value or interest?.. it important in policy decisions for governments around the world and for ASTRONOMY! how can you ignore a MASSIVE PHYSICAL FEATURE of the Earth? so you might say that: I can't see it right now.. understood. it probably consists of very fine interstellar dust, small rocks and transparent gas.. right now it might contain bits and pieces of satellites, wrenches that astronauts have lost, plastic and cubesats.. but there might also be other things that end up in Earth's orbit soon.. @Liz @Sdrqaz, @TheChunky, @Cullen328

"Since the Earth is flattened at the poles and bulges at the Equator, geodesy represents the figure of the Earth as an oblate spheroid. The oblate spheroid, or oblate ellipsoid, is an ellipsoid of revolution obtained by rotating an ellipse about its shorter axis. It is the regular geometric shape that most nearly approximates the shape of the Earth. "
Figure_of_the_Earth
the shape of the Earth, results from its rotation.. which in turn affects its gravitational pull.. orbital debris will tend to collect around the equator as rotational forces pull on the objects.
