June 2015 edit

Hello, I'm Qed237. Your recent edit to the page 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – CONCACAF Second Round appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 01:02, 15 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – CONCACAF Second Round. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 01:08, 15 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

UEFA Champions League edit

Hi, please dont to all those small, slightly problematic, edits. You only cause edit conflict for the rest of us making bigger updates on the entire article. Dont worry we keep the article updated very fast as soon as the matches have finished. Qed237 (talk) 20:19, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

2015–16 UEFA Europa League qualifying phase and play-off round edit

Disambiguation link notification for October 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited MotoAmerica, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Washington, Georgia and David Anthony. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:15, 5 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Copying licensed material requires attribution edit

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Department for Exiting the European Union you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 14:53, 2 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good call! Diannaa I'm going to steal the attribution process!

Please draft articles outside of the main encyclopedia edit

I did not move 2019 MotoAmerica just for the sake of moving it, but in the future, please consider creating the page as a draft, either with a name starting with Draft: or with a name starting with User:Bourneclient/ (the / is important). Once it's mostly done, go ahead and WP:Move it to the main encyclopedia.

For the 2029 MotoAmerica article, if you are not going to finish it within a day or two, please move it to Draft:2019 MotoAmerica and remove the {{under construction}} template that I added. If you are going to finish it within a day or two, there is no need to move it, but please remove the "under construction" template once it is mostly finished.

Also, I modified MotoAmerica to use a form of partial WP:Transclusion so it "inherits" the "Championship series" portion of 2020 MotoAmerica season. This means if that page is updated, the changes are reflected in MotoAmerica. It also means you can do the same thing in 2021 without worrying about keeping the same data up-to-date in two places.

Finally, because of the way Template:Motorsport championship works, I created a redirect at 2020 MotoAmerica that points to 2020 MotoAmerica season. Now the link to the 2020 season from 2019 MotoAmerica works.

I also added some standard content from the bottom of MotoAmerica to the two season pages. This was a direct copy-and-paste rather than a transclusion, as that content may vary across those pages in the future. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:10, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
