Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to List of Christian video games. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:38, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, TeComprendo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:LOGOS Bible Video Game, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 05:45, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Username policy

edit

your username, "TeComprendo", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is implying shared use. Wikipedia's policy is that usernames should not be shared between more than one individual. Usernames that are simply names of companies or groups are not permitted. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Jay (talk) 09:28, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your account was blocked because of the username concern, and not because of Conflict of Interest editing. You may continue to work on the draft Draft:LOGOS Bible Video Game to get it to the accepted article standard. Jay (talk) 12:25, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Orange Mike | Talk 16:17, 28 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

My username implied a shared use, but I was the only person using it (Benjamin Granados), sorry for that. I've read the policies and tried to use a name according to the "Usernames implying shared use" acceptable cases.

I don't receive any compensation for the contributions I make, in fact, I don't receive anything (sometimes not even a simple "thanks") from anyone :(.

I understand the the reason of my block. I felt really bad because I've worked a lot in the article trying to be as most objective as possible, but I understand that I cannot write about it. The reason I did it was because no one takes the time to do so :(. I've asked for help but is really difficult for the people to take time to write, is really hard for me.

I didn't make it with the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anything. In fact to comply with the Wikipedia´s policies I disclose that may have a conflict of interest for the sake of the truth!, but didn't make the draft to make promotion, I did it because people asked for. In fact, a video appeared on web mentioning the draft because they're asking for such information. But I understand I have to take a lot of care with articles describing stuff I was involved with for the sake of objectiveness. :( I'm sorry.

I intend just to include an interview that was broadcasted on TV, because the people that rejected the draft is asking for "published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject", because it "does not appear to be a notable video game". Is totally independent of the subject, but I think is very difficult that someone is going to contribute to the article if I don't, even if I ask for help :( and if I don't contribute, the draft is closed after 6 months.

I feel like this is my last chance. Please please please don't let me here in the "limbo". I'm asking for your kind consideration. There are so few videogames of this category that almost no one is trying to make a difference. TeComprendo (talk) 04:51, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

I will go ahead and remove the block. 331dot (talk) 11:05, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Are you employed by TeComprendo? If so, you are a paid editor, you do not have to be specifically paid to edit or specifically directed to edit. Interviews are not acceptable for establishing notability, as interviews are primary sources. If you just want to tell the world about the game- which is a promotional purpose, either due to requests from users or for your own reasons, you should use social media or a website owned and operated by TeComprendo. Do you want to edit about any other topics besides this game or other products from the company? 331dot (talk) 08:09, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

In fact TeComprendo is not something that pays, is an organization I made to represent, for example, the ownership of the images I uploaded to wikimedia commons. Nobody pays me anything.

And ok, if you think I can’t talk about the game for any reason I won’t. I feel tired and really unmotivated at this point.

And yeah, I want to contribute to many other christians topics out there. But I’m still learning how to edit on Wikipedia and what can be or can’t be done. The policies are inmense! TeComprendo (talk) 15:01, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

TeComprendo appears to be a real-world, non-profit organization (http://tecomprendo.org/). Since you are affiliated with them, and representing their interests, you should not be creating or editing articles related to them. Editors with a conflict of interest have great difficulty writing from the required neutral point of view, and relying only on information published in reliable, independent sources. We have no interest in what an organization wants to say about itself or its products/services. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:22, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I won’t write anything about this organization (TeComprendo).

I’ll ask publicly for other editors to help complete the draft I was making according to the Wikipedia’s guidelines.

I’ll contribute in other topics that doesn’t have any relation with the organization. TeComprendo (talk) 15:44, 29 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

@331dot, @Drm310, @Orangemike, - What are your thoughts about unblocking at this time? They've been renamed to a more appropriate username, and have agreed not to directly write about their employer any more. SQLQuery Me! 19:57, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@SQL: No objections from me - I'm OK with unblocking. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:03, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
OK with me. 331dot (talk) 20:52, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
