Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Disambiguation link notification for November 10 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Machine Girl (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Stop it edit

Stop plastering the {{pageviews}} template on random pages. There are some circumstances where that template is appropriate but they're outnumbered by a factor of thousands-to-one by the occasions where it isn't; if you feel it's necessary on a particular page, the onus is on you to explain why the change is appropriate for that particular page. ‑ Iridescent 12:37, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Cyborg Attack edit

The article Cyborg Attack has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I am unable to find significant discussion in multiple reliable sources about this band, per WP:GNG or WP:BAND.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 17:46, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Discospinster: How are you? I hope everything is fine. Well, it seems that my attempt to create a page about the group Cyborg Attack is going to end in the same failure as the last 3 attempts in the last years. Will it be an impossible crusade? it seems so. I ask you from my ignorance, would appearing on Discogs, MusicBrainz and AllMusic be insufficient references? The band had a reasonable impact within the electro-industrial music scene and even played at Wave Gotik Treffen, isn't there a way to save the article? Kind regards (AntonioMDA (talk) 21:32, 25 January 2021 (UTC))Reply

Having an entry in a music directory is not in itself an indicator of notability. I suggest you look at the criteria outlined in WP:GNG and WP:NBAND to get an idea of what sort of things would make the band notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. ... discospinster talk 22:40, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Dear @discospinster, following your advice I have added several sources and expanded the article substantially, take a look at it when you can. Best regards AntonioMDA (talk) 15:22, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
