False Accusation

Actually, my attention was brought to the Skenderaj talk page after I got a notification that BrownHairedGirl had mentioned me in her comment/ closure. Please rescind/ withdraw this false accusation or I'll rescind it for you. I'm getting sick to death of your false accusations and constant badgering on my talk page, this constitutes as WP:Harassment and a violation of Wikipedia policy. Hello Antidiscriminator, Thank you very much for your kind words and advice. As you can see; I am new to Wikipedia.

• Now about the edit war dispute between myself and User:Peacemaker67....

After I added several battles and leaders from different factions to the Template talk:Yugoslav Front. I noticed all of that hours of editing I invested into that Template had vanished and reverted back to the original state. I thought for sure that my work was lost forever and that I had to restart all over again.

• Later on I decided the damage could be revived from the Edit History. I reverted the damage User:Peacemaker67 has committed and added few more details to the template.

Again he deleted my work. Complaining "This is not a redfarm link"

• I felt the Template was not complete. All of the battles that took place in occupied Yugoslavia needed to be added there.

Once again User:Peacemaker67 reverted the template back to the previous state. I agreed with him about the redfarm links. Instead I edited the template into one of these versions as you have noticed. diff1, diff2, diff3, diff4

• Later on the template was AGAIN reverted back to the original state....by you guessed it User:Peacemaker67

THERE WERE NO REDFARM LINKS! What was the reason behind that action?? From then on he would undo whatever edit action I performed on that template and I would undo his inappropriate action, thus sparking the edit war. It lasted for several minutes until he send a message that he will be reporting me....like the disgusting coward he truly is.. So much for a former UN personnel serving in war-torn Yugoslavia. Now living in the present, he has an obsession for that region. Hours later after creating a new article. The user administrator that blocked me fron Wikipedia User:Joy undid one of my edits to the Template:Norwegian Campaign It seems that User:Joy is a henchmen for User:Peacemaker67 If you can tell me how to report User:Peacemaker67 for his unnecessary actions in retaliation, I would most appreciate it. I wish to present evidence of his actions by sending you links from the Edit History from the Template talk:Yugoslav Front. I currently don't have the knowledge on how to perform this step.

• Also why and how did the User:Joy follow me to the Template:Norwegian Campaign? This only proves my point that she is behaving like a henchmen.

That's right! She is a Croat... Which proves she is a Ustašhe fanatic! Is it possible to hide all of my activity so no one, not even the high-ranking wikipedians who call themselves "administrator" can see none of my activity - much less follow me around and revert the edits and later misuse the reporting option? When and why was the two articles I created deleted?

• Battle of Zavlaka (1941)
• Action of 10 April 1940
• Action of 16 November 1943

Two of these articles had sources. The sources to Battle of Zavlaka is non-existent on the known internet. There is no need for "sources". This was a battle, not a skirmish. Consensus to endorse

I agree that the discussion was far from ideal, especially given that, as you point out ,and as I comment on in my close, all comments were by editors involved in the original RM. That said I can't see any useful purpose being served by keeping the discussion open given that there had been no comments in so long. I stand by the consensus I found although I admit it is a very weak consensus. Dpmuk (talk) 00:09, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

The MRV had been open for 4 weeks and had had no additional comments in almost as long. I believe the effect that other discussions had on this would have been at best minimal. I also don't like the precedent that keeping the discussion open longer would set. At the end of the day editors had plenty of time to comment and they chose not to, for whatever reason. It's starting to look like you just won't accept the decision and are looking for any possible way that you may be able to change it. I would strongly advise against it but if you wish to ask for review of my close then WP:AN is the place to do so. WikiCup 2014 February newsletter

And so ends the most competitive first round we have ever seen, with 38 points required to qualify for round 2. Last year, 19 points secured a place; before that, 11 (2012) or 8 (2011) were enough. This is both a blessing and a curse. While it shows the vigourous good health of the competition, it also means that we have already lost many worthy competitors. Our top three scorers were:

1. Godot13 (submissions), a WikiCup newcomer whose high-quality scans of rare banknotes represent an unusual, interesting and valuable contribution to Wikipedia. Most of Godot's points this round have come from a large set of pictures used in Treasury Note (1890–91).
2. Adam Cuerden (submissions), a WikiCup veteran and a finalist last year, Adam is also a featured picture specialist, focusing on the restoration of historical images. This month's promotions have included a carefully restored set of artist William Russell Flint's work.
3. WikiRedactor (submissions), another WikiCup newcomer. WikiRedactor has claimed points for good article reviews and good articles relating to pop music, many of which were awarded bonus points. Articles include Sky Ferreira, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus and "Wrecking Ball" (Miley Cyrus song).

Other competitors of note include:

• Hahc21 (submissions), who helped take Thirty Flights of Loving through good article candidates and featured article candidates, claiming the first first featured article of the competition.
• Prism (submissions), who claimed the first featured list of the competition with Natalia Kills discography.
• Cwmhiraeth (submissions), who takes the title of the contributor awarded the highest bonus point multiplier (resulting in the highest scoring article) of the competition so far. Her high-importance salamander, now a good article, scored 108 points.

After such a competitive first round, expect the second round to also be fiercely fought. Remember that any content promoted after the end of round 1 but before the start of round 2 can be claimed in round 2, but please do not update your submission page until March (UTC). Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points equally.

WikiCup 2014 March newsletter

A quick update as we are half way through round two of this year's competition. WikiCup newcomer Godot13 (submissions) (Pool E) leads, having produced a massive set of featured pictures for Silver certificate (United States), an article also brought to featured list status. Former finalist Adam Cuerden (submissions) (Pool G) is in second, which he owes mostly to his work with historical images, including a number of images from Urania's Mirror, an article also brought to good status. 2010 champion (Pool C) is third overall, thanks to contributions relating to naval history, including the newly featured Japanese battleship Nagato. Cliftonian (submissions), who currently leads Pool A and is sixth overall, takes the title for the highest scoring individual article of the competition so far, with the top importance featured article Ian Smith.

With 26 people having already scored over 100 points, it is likely that well over 100 points will be needed to secure a place in round 3. Recent years have required 123 (2013), 65 (2012), 41 (2011) and 100 (2010). Remember that only 64 will progress to round 3 at the end of April. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page; if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points equally. WikiCup 2014 April newsletter

Round 3 of the 2014 WikiCup has just begun; 32 competitors remain. Pool G's Adam Cuerden (submissions) was Round 2's highest scorer, with a large number of featured picture credits. In March/April, he restored star charts from Urania's Mirror, lithographs of various warships (such as SMS Gefion) and assorted other historical media. Second overall was Pool E's Godot13 (submissions), whose featured list Silver certificate (United States) contains dozens of scans of banknotes recently promoted to featured picture status. Third was Pool G's ChrisGualtieri (submissions) who has produced a large number of good articles, many, including Falkner Island, on Connecticut-related topics. Other successful participants included Cliftonian (submissions), who saw three articles (including the top-importance Ian Smith) through featured article candidacies, and Caponer (submissions), who saw three lists (including the beautifully-illustrated list of plantations in West Virginia) through featured list candidacies. High-importance good articles promoted this round include narwhal from Reid,iain james (submissions), tiger from Cwmhiraeth (submissions) and The Lion King from Igordebraga (submissions). We also saw our first featured topic points of the competition, awarded to Czar (submissions) and Red Phoenix (submissions) for their work on the Sega Genesis topic. No points have been claimed so far for good topics or featured portals.

192 was our lowest qualifying score, again showing that this WikiCup is the most competitive ever. In previous years, 123 (2013), 65 (2012), 41 (2011) or 100 (2010) secured a place in Round 3. Pool H was the strongest performer, with all but one of its members advancing, while only the two highest scorers in Pools G and F advanced. At the end of June, 16 users will advance into the semi-finals. Creation of articles with titles that do not meet WP:TITLE

How many times do I have to remind you, this is ENGLISH Wikipedia, not Serbian or Serbo-Croat WP. It is tendentious to regularly create articles using titles that clearly do not meet WP:TITLE. I'm also sick of the tendentious carping on about how "harsh" I am every time I challenge your POV. German-Partisan negotiations is typical of your behaviour, create a poorly titled article that cherry-picks reliable sources, then when I challenge the title and start using the sources properly, you retreat, claiming I'm being harsh. Thank you for the interest showed in the RfC/U I recently posted. I am glad that also people likely not supporting my views are going to participate. Still I want to take the occasion to share with you a few thoughts. You are right in writing that such disputes impact on the productivity of the users and also on the actual quality of the article. And I do not consider myself external to the issue, because WP is a human system so we are all responsible. And feel free to certify the basis of this RfC/U, because whatever is the split of responsabilities clearly there is an issue to solve.

What I actually regret are the words Director chose to deal with me. And perhaps I regret them because I never used any source close to any extremist corcle and because they are not only offensive but used to describe a person that does not correspond to that description. Indeed, since my first encounter with Director I have been suspected to be the sockpuppet of formerly banned user. If you have time go into my first edits and see how extremist they were...

Of course you are free to believe that I am not genuine in what I write you, but I want to take the occasion to share with you what are me beliefs and I will do starting with the words used most currently by Director to describe me.

1. Nationalist? I do not believe the actual idea of Nation as built across the XIX and XX century has the same relevance in a globalized World. I believe in federalism, in regions, in communities that control directly their land and that in harmony live with their neighbors. And actually a region is able to preserve their tradition and their culture much more than a centralised state. A lot of bad can be said about Italy, but also that if we never experienced any strong tension (and the Lega Nord it's not) to divisionism is also because a large autonomy is given to regions and to the right to speak a different language. Remember that the borders of today prepare the wars of tomorrow.
2. Fascist? I never voted a party less on the Left than the Democratic Party and I consider the years of the Fascism the darkest years of my country. For God's sake I hold a card of the Italian Communist Party for 8 years (I can prove it) and now I have to tolerate that I am sympathetic with Mussolini. This is too much.
3. Pro-Italian POV pusher? What happened to the Italians in Yugoslavia in the years 1943-1954 was regrettable but was the inevitable cost that Italy had to pay to have started (and lost) a war that made 20 or 30 millions people (it depends how you count) and an even bigger number of displaced. And I do not have a problem with that. I have a problem with a recent trend of Croatian history which describe the departure of 250,000+ people as voluntary. Or that tend to justify (or worse deny) what happened to over 150,000 ethnic Italians that ancestrally inhabited Istria and Dalmatia. But it is true that I disagree with some of modern Croatian historiography, because basically it looks that in any conflict or dispute the Croatians are always the good guys.
4. Irredentist? The Italian Dalmatia was an invention of the Fascism. Istria, or better a part of it was. Those territories were never Italian. At the best they were inhabited by a minority, concentrated in a few villages and towns. But from there to affirm that Marco Polo (or better Marko Polo, using the croatised version of his name) did not born in Venice there is a distance. There is no house of Marco Polo in Venice and never was, but there is a well restored one in Korcula. There are some people in Italy believing that we should also from scrap build the house of Marco Polo. I think this would be regrettable. As regrettable is to change the name of Venetian painters, artists and inventors. Those people were Venetian, not Italian and not Croatian. But the history of Venice is common to modern Italy and Croatia. Both countries should be proud of it. Silvio1973 (talk) 09:26, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

I have most certainly not been blocked because I did anything to you, therefore your complaints have not been justified. I was consulted about you in an administrative manner, and I responded with comments about you under the talk page heading that reflected exactly that. I was not involved at Talk:Vukovar when or because you said so; my perceived involvement was entirely unrelated to your taunting. Yes, I am indeed continuing to use that word because that's exactly what you're still doing here, just like back then - if you had seriously believed that I was involved, you would have told me so when I asked you to elaborate. I was not being uncivil by using the words "jerk" and "bastard" in those two instances, because they were rhetorical devices, used in context to refer to no specific people, and indeed they were primarily meant in relation to myself. I did not canvass another user any more than I canvassed you to that same discussion - I simply linked both people whose behavior I was discussing with the other administrator because I thought it would be polite to notify them that way. I honestly don't know where that user is from, but I remember him saying once he was from Australia. If they now edit from another time zone - I wouldn't know, and more to the point, I wouldn't care - the fact that we're unrelated stands. You have, for the umpteenth time now, constructed a story in which you are a victim and I am the bad guy, solely through the use of wikilawyering. In what way does our pre-existing discussion about user conduct issues relate to the edit warring at Vukovar, when you didn't take part that edit war over there? What possible administrative actions of mine regarding the edit war at Vukovar could have impacted you in any way?

BTW, regarding the 'argument from ignorance' claim - that was another piece of wikilawyering I accidentally didn't respond to... this simply wasn't a claim of "oh hey this is all one big unknown, therefore let's tear it all apart". I know that this event isn't commonly or widely known under that title you used. I know that the very real effects of Ustaše terror are by and large distinctly more notable to the story of WWII in Yugoslavia than purported peasant uprisings. I know that I never saw anything like that in history books. What the RfC is meant to do is involve other, previously uninvolved users, who may then tell us independently if some of those judgement calls about the title and scope of the article have been based on proper sources and argumentation, or not. Proposed deletion of Lim-Sandžak Chetnik Detachment

The article Lim-Sandžak Chetnik Detachment has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The title does not exist in English per this , this unit doesn't meet WP:GNG "Significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources independent of the subject", and only receives passing mention in sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The Wikipedia Library: New Account Coordinators Needed

Hi Books & Bytes recipients: The Wikipedia Library has been expanding rapidly and we need some help! We currently have 10 signups for free account access open and several more in the works... In order to help with those signups, distribute access codes, and manage accounts we'll need 2-3 more Account Coordinators.

It takes about an hour to get up and running and then only takes a couple hours per week, flexible depending upon your schedule and routine.
