This Defender of the Wiki Barnstar is awarded by User:Tabib for El C's role in Azerbaijan entry. Tabib

It is only appropriate that an original "rouge admin" be awarded this badge of honor. Without your dilligent efforts, there would be no rouge admins. FeloniousMonk

It's my privilege to award you the Barnstar of Good Humor, which is awarded to "particularly light-spirited Wikipedians who, by their unshakably good humor, consistently and reliably lighten the mood, defuse conflicts, and make the Wikipedia a generally better place to be," which describes you perfectly. For not letting inane POV pushed criticisms get in the way of doing your job, and for apparently being one of few who seems to be truly neutral around here. Coldmachine
-
For seeing things as they are, and doing what any reasonable person would do. Keep up the good work, because certain type of people are going to keep pushing their rather disturbing points of view here. ((1 == 2)

Thanks for quality articles such as Nothing comes from nothing and Yisrael Hasson, improving South Rhodesian politics and Chinese nature parks, serving from 2004, for the approach "educational but not pedantic" and the mantra "please stop vandalizing", for quoting indignation and for strong images, - historian, repeated from 25 May 2007 ("Whatever is a cruel wrong, ...") --Gerda Arendt (talk)

For your work in frequently patrolling edit warring reports, I hereby award you this anti-edit-warrior combat helmet. It's come in handy many-a-time when dealing with warriors of all sorts, and it's no doubt prevented many-a-concussion...though it doesn't seem too good at preventing the headache in the first place. :P Keep up the great work. =) Cheers, --slakr\ talk /

I certainly can't compete with Slakr's Anti Edit Warrior Award above this but I have been running into you and your work frequently while patrolling the encyclopedia's various maintenance areas and wanted to take a moment to recognize everything you do to help keep the administrative side of this encyclopedia running. From RFPP to AE and everywhere in between, your work is greatly appreciated and it is my pleasure to award you The Admin's Barnstar. Best, Mifter (talk)

For your "iron hand in a silk glove" fearlessly defending impartiality even when engaging fellow admins. — JFG

Thank you for closing that
god-forsakendiscussion at ANI. So glad an admin finally stepped in and put their foot down! Thank you for all your hard work, and in particular this excellent closure. MrAureliusRTalk! -
For being there when you're needed, for being a superb admin in general, and for making those tough calls (even when they ended up earning you flak). Your work can't be appreciated enough. Thank you for your hard work! LightandDark2000 🌀 (talk)

I'm not certain that I need to explain exactly why you deserve this barnstar, suffice it to say that you spend a lot more time cleaning up WP:AN and WP:ANI than any admin should be honorably required to do. One hopes that perhaps watching the soothing, spinning star will help you relax some. :-) WaltCip-(talk)

I appreciate your work and I hope you make good use of the sanctions from the ArbCom case I opened. GPinkerton (talk)

For protecting thousands of pages, for endlessly leaving comments at AN and ANI, for being valuable to a whole admin area that very few can bear to edit it, for other things. Courtesy of WikiProject Giving Users Barnstars Because They Deserve Them. 🐔 Chicdat Bawk to me!

I have been editing Wikipedia since 2007 and this discussion closure may have been the most inspiring and beautiful thing I have ever seen. BOTTO (T•C)

For your interventions in the COVID-19 'lab leak' topic area, and the COVID-19 topic area more generally, last year and early this year. Doesn't go unnoticed! ProcrastinatingReader (talk)
-
After following as much as I could stand of this discussion at AN, I am amazed at the good humor with which you keep tolerating the sneers and smears. I am awarding you the "Grace Under Fire" award. Also remembering the not-so-old saying, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall catch hell from both sides". MelanieN (talk)
-
For being “that sort of admin” there are a bunch of you though, but you popped in my head first. I have always been intrigued by men and women of power who aren’t stiff but jovial and act as though they aren’t powerful but command great authority and power it’s hard to explain but I hope you get what I’m trying to say. Furthermore for being an admin who is unafraid or unfazed in the face of tough decisions. Celestina007 (talk)
-
I don’t know why I find your sense of humor to be very unique, it’s none like I have seen before, others, including, wiki friends of mine find it annoying, But definitely not me, it sure as hell cracks me up. Celestina007 (talk)
-
For your sense of humor at ANI and other places. I enjoyed reading your input to other discussions you were involved with while I was there. You are able to get the point across while also conveying a sense of lightheartness, which I think is very important and can help destress and defuse the whole situation, which is important in a time of conflict. Keep up the good work! Rlink2 (talk)
-
It's always felt like you're one of the most active admin at page protection and Xtools just confirmed it for me. Thank you for everything that you do. Hey man im josh (talk)

For parking what I perceive to be your political prejudices at the door, as in User talk:Panda619#Indefinite block. The argument against a republic: President Thatcher. The argument against a monarchy: Crown Prince Mark Thatcher. La nature n'a fait ni serviteur ni maître; Je ne veux ni donner ni recevoir de lois. Et ses mains ourdiraient les entrailles du prêtre, Au défaut d'un cordon pour étrangler les rois. — Nature has made neither servant nor master; I don't want to give or receive laws. And its hands would weave the entrails of the priest, For lack of a cord to strangle kings. –– (Diderot) Narky Blert (talk)
