Fair use rationale for Image:Vincent perez.jpg
editImage:Vincent perez.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The result of the move request was: Moved (non-admin closure) Fuortu (talk) 15:44, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Vincent Pérez → Vincent Perez – more commonly credited as Vincent Perez – Gomuse17 (talk) 14:28, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:52, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- Neutral/note I am indifferent towards the move but I do feel it fails the criteria for a Uncontroversial technical requests. Throughout the entire article the actor is referred to as Vincent Pérez. If the page is going to be renamed Vincent Perez, a consensus should be reached and his name throughout the article should be changed to reflect the new title. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:52, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose what evidence is there that sources which use full fonts for other European actors leave the accent off for this one? In ictu oculi (talk) 17:34, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. More commonly written with diacritics. Anarchyte (work | talk) 07:08, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support. The article contains 10 inline cites and three external links. All of these, without exception, indicate his surname as Perez, not Pérez. Likewise, all references (IMDb, BFI, AFI, AllMovie, TVGuide, The Vincent Perez Archives at vincentperez.com), indicate Perez, not Pérez. Subject's own posts on Twitter confirm that he, himself, does not use "Pérez". Not a single film has credited him as "Pérez" and his own native language French Wikipedia lists him as Perez. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 08:10, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support – at least until someone points out sources that suggest his name should have the accent. Oddly, opposers have not done so yet. Dicklyon (talk) 06:17, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support as above, credited in films and generally written without diacritics. He himself does not use diacritics. Easy call. Cavarrone 22:04, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Iman
editVincent Perez’s children are listed including a link (wrongly) to the Wikipedia article on Iman the celebrity model. He does have a daughter named Iman but this is not the same person. 2601:5CF:4081:A90:D9FD:34BA:E54D:D19D (talk) 11:56, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
- What's your basis for claiming that it's incorrect? The article on Iman Perez appears to corroborate that Vincent is her father. Were you thinking of Iman (model), who this article does not link to (that I saw)? DonIago (talk) 16:29, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
