Total SA -> Total SE edit

The company has shifted from SA to SE registration form. [1] I'm not sure what changes need to be made to the article other than the reference to the company name at the beginning of the article. I'm not confident with moving the page, could someone more experienced do so please? daylon124 (talk) 19:38, 29 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm not super experiences but I made the move. They are indeed Total SE per their legal statement. Hekerui (talk) 07:53, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Total Mozambique edit

An ISIS splinter group (Al Shabob) (sp?) was active in an area where Total employees were developing infrastructure for gas. This was a substantial property with over 130 employees from overseas, as well as other local employees.
Despite the warning signs of eminent attack, as well as long term threats, insufficient arrangements were made for these contract employees safety. Despite the attempts of an underfunded and under gunned security force (helicopters and all), the response was inadequate. Ukrainian security contractors with heavy troop helicopters and very adequate arms declined moving to remove the personnel they were contracted to protect, some 12 miles away. Nor did the Mozambique army.
After 3 days the unarmed contractors, and locals, made a run for safety in private vehicles. About half survived.
The preferred method of killing by the extremists was machete beheading, rather than gunshot execution.
Total has declined compensation to the families of the victims.
This is a significant event, and should not be buried. 69.178.94.180 (talk) 03:01, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
