Too many pictures? edit

This article currently has more pictures than would be expected for a Wikipedia article of its length. It also has an image gallery at the bottom, which are discouraged. Wikipedia articles should only contain as many pictures as are needed to illustrate the text; galleries of images belong on Wikimedia Commons instead. I saw your note here about the pictures. Not sure what it used to look like, but galleries are definiately a "no no" for Wikipedia articles. I have added some images from Commons in sections that are applicable to them. The rest can be left at Commons as they are linked from the bottom of the article ("Wikicommons has media related to Toby Mott"). Also added some badly needed sources for information that was not properly sourced. --JBSHC4 (talk) 14:57, 29 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I couldn't see the purpose of the 'Me with Adam Ant' photo so removed it. Ant isn't mentioned anywhere in the article, so the photo added no value. Sionk (talk) 19:00, 29 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I see your point. There are quite a few images from Commons I think can be added to the article, but I am thinking about bringing the information up to date first and then adding images that conform to the content as long as it doesn't take away from the actual article. Sometime when I have more time........ --JBSHC4 (talk) 17:41, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
And I like the new heading hierarchy. --JBSHC4 (talk) 17:43, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bad ISBN edit

Because it is causing a Checkwiki error #73: "ISBN-13 with wrong checksum", I removed the ISBN from the entry:

An exhibition of forty-five 7" single covers by David Bowie, from his Berlin period. Accompanied by the exhibition catalogue David Bowie – Nacht Musik, designed and printed by Ditto Press, ISBN 978-09573914-1-4 Parameter error in {{ISBN}}: checksum

I have tried unsuccessfully to locate the correct ISBN on the Internet. Two problems:

  • The format of this article does not clearly show which bibliography information goes with which explanatory text;
  • ISBNs on the Internet for Toby Mott's works do not agree. At The Mott Collection on Facebook, "David Bowie - Nacht Musik" has 978-0-9573914-0-6, but everywhere else on the Internet and in this article, that ISBN is associated with "KRAFTWERK. 45RPM". Potential sources edit

Moving this glut of sources from the External links section. Some may be viable for the article but are behind paywalls or need to be updated (if the link is dead) or need a secondary (instead of primary) source. Dropping here for future consideration:
