I have no doubt that most of this article is correct, as I think I recognize some of the details from what I have seen in the Swedish papers (without ever following the case or previous stories on Eriksson and his partners), but the article really needs better referencing. u p p l a n d 14:11, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I agree. I added a whole bunch of cite neededs because some of the allegations are just so inflammatory that they need to be sourced, particularly the one claiming that he threatened a man with murder. Pat Payne 18:20, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

While cleaning up the grammar in the Gizmondo section, I came across a statement about Eriksson's partner being paid for her services by Gizmondo. I can't find anything in the SEC filings to back this up, and suspect whoever wrote it may have been confusing Carl Freer's wife here, as there are statements in the SEC filings that Anneli Freer received a similar amount of money for the same type of work. This is just one of many unreferenced statements in that section, but as Uppland said, most of the other statements do fit in generally with the background of the company and Eriksson as reported elsewhere. --Fugu Alienking (talk) 14:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Heading job title

As quoting Eriksson is a Swedish businessman from Uppsala who ran the Gizmondo gaming company...

My reply to that quote is, a businessman who runs a company with an intention to embezzle money is a criminal, do anybody think calling him a criminal rather than a businessman would be appropriate even though if that takes the surprise out of the biography. CNN is wrong. Sgt, Philip Brooks at the Malibu Lost Hills sheriff's station says it was 199 mph. 66.214.92.91 (talk) 17:25, 16 November 2009 (UTC) Hans Laetz, the journalist who took the pictures.

Not to add more numbers to the article. However, Wired has stated in their article "Gizmondo's Spectacular Crack-Up" that the car was indeed traveling at 194 mph, not 162. Is there any definitive answer to this? BLP Issues

This is sad. Looks like an attack campaign over the game console Gizmundo. This article is filled will peacock terms and weasel words. Statements made in the article are conjectures and not what the references say. There are quite a few Swedish references that I found that could potentially support some of the information, but I am not about to translate them all to find out if the information is correct. For now, I reworded some of the content and removed some of the information that was not sourced. If this guy is notable for being a criminal, there is not way that he passed notability guidelines for WP:CRIME. Sad day for WP:BLP. --JakenBox (talk) 19:25, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
