Extension edit

This page is intended to be an extension to the Somerset CCC page (and eventually to a more detailed History of Somerset CCC page which I might write). Nigej 15:57, 14 March 2007 (UTC) Season by Season Table is taken from my 'Somerset CCC First Class Records 1882-1995' updated by hand. Nigej 15:57, 14 March 2007 (UTC) The Somerset Yearbook (eg 2006 edition)includes the CU v Hewett match in 1892 in its summary table. Unfortunately it seems to have been incorrectly added into the home total. They also combine the Australians and Australian Imperial Forces. Nigej 06:59, 16 March 2007 (UTC) I can't match up my home ground numbers for Taunton and Bath with those given in the Yearbook (eg 2006 edition). Yearbook has first inter-county match at Bristol Imperial in 1959 not 1957 (copied from my book which was in error). 1959 was the first Championship match there. Nigej 15:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC) Updated for 2007 season - 17 matches = 16 Championship + Loughborough. All done by hand so somewhat error prone. Unreliability tags added edit

A more comprehensive explanation is needed about the disputed matches. This could be obtained if and when the Traditional career totals article is rewritten to provide a historical balance. Fiddlers Three 07:33, 17 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand your comment. As explained to you elsewhere the list of Somerset first class matches in this article conforms to the list in all recent Somerset publications including the official Somerset CCC Yearbook (except perhaps as regarding whether the 1892 match noted above should be counted as a Somerset match - there is no discussion about whether is was first class.). Please provide examples of what you want or make the changes yourself. Nigej 13:25, 18 October 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nigej (talkcontribs)
