To be clear, there isn't some conspiracy where Koreans are trying to make this article primarily about Korea. It's just that nobody has added in information about the ceremony in Japan or China.

I object to the claim that the Japanese ceremony is somehow "more important" than the Korean version. That's not really objectively possible to prove; these things just exist and we should document them. Hwangap → Sixtieth birthday in East Asia – Welcome suggestions; I'm not sure what best title for this is. The concept is relevant to the Sinosphere (afaik particularly China, Japan, and Korea; does it exist in Vietnam?), so I just proposed a generic English-language title. See Talk:East Asian coal briquettes#Requested move 8 September 2023 for a similar discussion along this vein.

I don't know much about the ceremony's varieties across Asia. Not sure how WP:COMMONNAME factors into this. Here's an ngram; the Chinese term is complicated by the fact that it overlaps with other terms, for example sexagenary cycle.
