Merger proposal

edit

I suggest this article Rock of Monaco be folded into Monaco-Ville. "Rock of Monaco" is not just a cliff in the sea as this article implies. It is a historical nickname of today's Monaco-Ville. Therefore the history of the Rock should be just a history section in the Monaco-Ville article. Otherwise it will forever remain a stub as there isn't much interesting story in the name itself.76.197.187.47 (talk) 21:29, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't see any support for that. Ferrari Rocher (talk) 21:50, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Support merge Monaco isn't exactly a huge place, anyhow, 3/4 sq mi. A simple rock formation on which a more relevant, newer, and contemporary item (e.g., Monaco-Ville) stands has no encyclopedic stature of its own. The dependent rocks are part and parcel of the quarter, and should be seen as such... Cesium 133 (talk) 02:30, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
