Moved, with the modification that the first article is moved to Robert Muller (United Nations). BD2412 T 03:07, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
- Robert Muller (disambiguation) → Robert Muller
- Robert Muller → Robert Muller (civil servant)
- Robert Müller → Robert Müller (hockey)
– No clear primary topic per pageviews, which show that the civil servant is neck-and-neck with Robert Muller (screenwriter). I don't think the umlaut is enough to create a separate primary topic via WP:SMALLDIFFS, so I would like to see the hockey player disambiguated as well and have it redirect to the plain version. - Support per nom, Robert Mueller can stay as is but indeed there's probably no need for a separate DAB there. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:46, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

: There's a lot of similar entries at Robert Muller (disambiguation). Are you saying it should be deleted?—Bagumba (talk) 09:30, 21 July 2020 (UTC)- @Bagumba: no I was saying that there's no need to move Robert Mueller or create Robert Mueller (disambiguation), obviously the Robert Muller (disambiguation) is needed and should be moved to the base name. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:36, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
- Crouch, Swale, thanks for clarifying. I got thrown off by the preceding "per nom" in the sentence, and then missed the 'e' in your "Mueller", which is seperate from the nom.—Bagumba (talk) 09:39, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

- Could someone explain to me how the linked Massviews stats work? I'm more familiar with the traditional metric of looking at daily page views. Thanks!--Yaksar (let's chat) 16:46, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Yaksar: it lists the articles by view order which is "Robert Mueller", "Robert Muller" is the 5th item with 5,774 and Robert Muller (screenwriter) is the 6th with 5,247. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:50, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- Ah I see now. Thanks!--Yaksar (let's chat) 00:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support. There doesn't seem to be a clear primary topic here. Rreagan007 (talk) 22:33, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Incredibly WP:SMALLDIFFS. No primary topic for either name, especially combined with the fact that they could very, very easily be confused with Robert Mueller (a more widely known individual users might be searching for but misspelling). Both versions ("u" and "ü") should redirect to a dab page. (EDIT: maybe move "Robert Muller" to "Robert Muller (United Nations)" per Bagumba below.) Paintspot Infez (talk) 03:12, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Interestingly I hadn't noticed the modification on the hockey player but even still I weakly support that move given the footballer gets 720 views which is below 10x. The reason I only weakly support the hockey move is that most English speakers won't understand diacritics and even those that do its difficult to type them but anyone who does search with them is likely looking for a topic with that name but as noted we have the footballer and also the German Wikipedia has several other people with diacritics. - Modified support: Robert Muller → Robert Muller (United Nations): No primary topic based on page views. The civil servant should be disambiguated from similiarly-named American civil servant Robert Mueller; alternatively use longer Robert Muller (Belgian civil servant). —Bagumba (talk) 09:22, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed, "Robert Muller (United Nations)" might be better. Paintspot Infez (talk) 22:59, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
- I also like that. It doesn't fall within any standard disambiguation scheme, but that's why we have WP:IAR; it's the disambiguator that makes his role most clear. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:07, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
