Can someone add a good photo? That operation is beyond my Wiki skills

  • I added a picture. Is this structure considered Richardsonian Romanesque architecture? Henry Hobson Richardson was the father of this style, but I don't know if this structure is representative of it. --Elkman - (Elkspeak) 17:25, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • Yes it is. Article now states this was the advent of the style for him. I believe it is the heavy massing, especially, like in Queen Anne architecture for houses that is the salient aspect of it. What a building. doncram (talk) 06:22, 2 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Messy names edit

I cleared some of the naming mess from the article's lead, but here's some bullets from stuff that I didn't know what to do with.

  • formerly known as the H.H. Richardson Buildings
  • Buffalo State Asylum for the Insane
  • stands on the grounds of the present-day Buffalo Psychiatric Center.
  • later known as Buffalo State Hospital

Seems like there's too many names and too little explanation for their meaning. If anyone cares to elaborate on their significance, they should probably be reincorporated into the article. --uKER (talk) 19:34, 8 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I was thinking that a short, bulleted chronology of the institution's names over the years would be very helpful for those researching its history. Guybrarian (talk) 23:57, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Linkspam edit

I removed these links from the External Links section. While not unrelated, they're too random to be relevant. I leave them here in case any of them has any valuable information for use in the article.
