Recent additions

I don't have time at the moment, but the newest edit should be reviewed with WP:MOSDAB in mind. Items I would (and will unless someone has time sooner):

1. Sort by most likely target (George S. undoubtedly comes out on top).
2. Review some of the names - will people enter just 'Patton' to find them?
3. Remove extraneous blue links. dab pages are primarily for finding the target page.

Patton (disambiguation) → Patton – As with Cosby I don't see a clear primary topic. By views Patton Oswalt has the most (101,579) then the current target, George (72,863), the film has 17,604 which though based on the general is a full match for "Patton", the tank has 1,552 though may not be a full match, the place in Pennsylvania has 333, the place in Missouri has 157, the place in California has 104, the surname has 77, the hundred has 18, the place in Shropshire has 16, the place in West Virginia has 14, the place in Illinois has 12 and the place in Indianan has 8[[1]]. Its not clear if the film is a competitor or not but due to being named after the general but even still I don't see a clear primary topic. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:43, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

• Oppose. eh I think this is a fine WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. That's what consensus reaffirmed at Talk:Patton in December 2018 and the nomination doesn't move me. The film is the only topic I would really expect people searching "Patton" to want, and it can't really be relevant here given that it's about the general. And the tank and Patton Oswalt both got their names him. Everything else isn't viewed enough to matter IMO. Nohomersryan (talk) 19:53, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
