LifeDrive discontinued?

I was under the impression that the LifeDrive is still in production? Yet wiki lists it as discontinued. Can anyone confirm this?

Palm Computing Logo

The description for the "Palm Computing Logo" image is incorrect. My Palm Vx from late 2001 uses the same logo on the rear, and on the Graffiti cheat sheet. - MSTCrow 16:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

T|X, Z22, and E2 are not discontinued.

The T|X, Z22, and E2 are more difficult to find on the website, yes, and I'm sure that Palm has plans to eventually phase them out and discontinue them, yes, but Palm is currently still selling them. Please correct it if you find any mistakes, but make sure your info is correct; I've accounted for the fact that some devices were released under one name and later sold under another. "old" Palm, "new" Palm

All, this article seems to be turning into a bit of a mash up. This is clearly about Palm, inc, which has long been defunct since the company was acquired by HP and turned into a subsidiary of HP. Now there seems to be stuff being added about the new device. Clearly, this has nothing whatsoever to do with Palm, inc. The Palm brand has been acquired by TCL, so what we seem now is an entirely new chapter using the brand name only. The new legal entity seems to be "Palm Ventures Group, Inc" as per the palm.com website and this source. I propose that the historical Palm, inc article be frozen at this point and a new article be created (if notable) for the new firm. My understanding is that Palm has been bought and sold a dozen times since 92 and the name has changed several times, even before it was sold to HP. It was originally Palm computing. So freezing the historical Palm at this point doesn't seem to make sense. Or else we would have to create separate articles for each Palm incarnation/rename/reformation. In fact, there was a time that HP was making devices with Palm technology and not even branding them "Palm," yet this lives in the Palm history. I will admit that it is confusing since the company now making devices is called Palm, but i think there is still a direct logical line from the original Palm Computing (92) to Palm (2018).

But, I do understand your point and that is why I created the Palm (ultramobile page). horrible name, i know. But, that should be where people go to read about the new device. My last round of edits and infographic were not saved and i got too tired to redo them. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but this article is about Palm, Inc, which is a legal entity. Palm Ventures Group is not the legal predecessor of that legal entity as far as the sources tell us. HP was the ultimate owner of that and merely sold the rights to the name "Palm". There is no article about the Palm brand. Palm (PDA) is probably the closest we have to a "brand" article. Therefore, Palm, Inc. and Palm Ventures Group, Inc should not be intermingled. Totally unrelated. _pseudonym Jake Brockman ^talk 14:50, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
