Quality assessment proceduresEdit

Open requestsEdit

Some articles are of interest for both this project and WikiProject Computer Security. While assessing, please update both projects Quality and Importance, if you can.

  1. Cloud computing (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - requested by Kvng (talk · contribs) 16:58, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
  2. Ethernet (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - potential promotion to B-class - ~Kvng (talk) 18:02, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
  3. Category 5 cable (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - potential promotion to B-class ~Kvng (talk) 16:30, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
  4. Racket (programming language) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) As an influential programming language (Clojure, Rust, Scheme) this article importance should be reassessed. spdegabrielle (talk) 11:49, 22 January 2019 (UTC) Current Low rating seems appropriate in context and after discussion. ~Kvng (talk) 13:46, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
@Spdegabrielle: Clojure and Scheme (programming language) have a Low rating. What makes Racket more important? Lisp (programming language) and Rust (programming language) have Mid ratings so you'd have to argue that Racket is on the same level. ~Kvng (talk) 14:53, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
@Kvng: Racket (along with Haskell) is a influence on major emerging languages like Rust and Clojure, as well as being an an influence on the evolution of established languages like Java, C++, Python & JavaScript. ~spdegabrielle 28 Feb 2019
@Spdegabrielle: Having influenced important languages does not automatically make the influencer important. See WP:INHERIT. ~Kvng (talk) 21:22, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
  5. Robot Operating System (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) -- Significant changes, would like some outside eyes. requested by ApprehensiveAndroid (talk) 07:43, 29 April 2019 (UTC) Definitely at least C class now and I have promoted it. Nice work ApprehensiveAndroid. ~Kvng (talk) 13:50, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
