A true judo master. DO NOT DELETE!
editI have heard of and followed the stellar judo and martial arts career if Sensei Bunasawa. I don't see any legitimate reason why anyone would want to delete his page. He is a former world champion silver medalist and an author. Please support him and DO NOT DELETE his page. 99.47.244.96 (talk) 22:38, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
Everything on this page is 100 percent true.
editBold I can verfy that everything on this page is true as Mr. Nori Bunasawa was a 6th Degree Black Belt when he started teaching for the Tustin Parks and Recreation District in the 1980's He opened his first dojo with Sensei Ken Vanderlip in one of the annex buidling of the Local High School Tustin High I was attending as a Freshman at the time My Friend Reggie was the Gymastics instructor there Mr Bunsawa had classes he taught on Wednesday's for the Beginner young students and the kids Advanced Classes on Thusday nights. I was workng for the Tustin Unified School District as a janitor when I met both sensei's The Janitor job was my after school job so I got the know Sensei Nori Bunasawa very well as well as his assistant instructor Ken Vanderlip who was a 3rd Black Belt at the time. The Had a Dojo behind Tustin High school in there Annex building with the Tustin City Parks and Recreation District for Years.
I'm a published Author myself So back then when He showed his picture of Bob Hope at the Dojo he used to teach at in Rodger Arkansas before moving to Southern Ca I was quite interested in his career. He had accomplished quite a bit at young age he was then the Youngest 6th Degree Black Belt not just in the Untied States but in the entire world at the time. Right now Mr. Bunsawa is the youngest 9th Degree Black Belt in the world. His assistant Ken Vanderlip has since been promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt. I see no conflict of interest in tell you everything including the pictures belong to Mr. Bunasawa and are the property of Mr. Bunasawa and his Newspaper he used to Run Called Judo Journal. Every one of the pictures are orginals And I can swear this under Oath in a court of law if asked to do so. 96.75.254.98 (talk) 04:38, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
Judo has been his life history. DO NOT DELETE !!!
editNori Bunasawa has been one of the greatest professional judo masters to promote and contribute to this Olympic sport in the USA. I have been in Paris France with Nori during the World Judo Championship as he interviewed the judo competitors. At the Ichiban Sport Center in Arkansas, he taught judo to me and many others. In Orange County Ca. Nori instructed and taught hundreds of children, many men and Judo Olympic Competitors and myself the sport of judo. Nori has traveled through-out the USA teaching and reporting during judo competitions as a publisher of the former Judo Journal.
