Issue edit

I changed to spelling of Tania from Tanya. In the screenplay and the subtitles on the DVD it's spelled that way. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.227.85.66 (talkcontribs) 23:37, 22 April 2006.

Awards edit

I removed the irritating and meaningless word "international" from the descriptive passage that led up to the BAFTA nomination (Kureishi is British, and so is Frears, it was a British production and the award in question is British.). I have reworded to attempt to make the passage clearer. --Tony Sidaway 00:27, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Title? edit

Is is Laundrette or Launderette?? AdRock (talk) 13:17, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good point it would not surprise me to find it was different in different markets. SimonTrew (talk) 19:21, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Every link I can find has laundrette (no middle E) except Youtube and another site of similar ilk, where presumably the poster is using the local (and acceptable) spelling. So I think change to laundrette would be best. will wait a day or two for responses then change it. (Or you can.) SimonTrew (talk) 19:25, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I see this has now been done. SimonTrew (talk) 19:28, 29 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cast edit

Could do with a cast list I think, extract out of the article and also add missing cast (e.g. female roles are not named).

music by "Ludus Tonalis"? edit

Well, the music presumably wasn't ghosted by Hindemith's work of the same name Ludus Tonalis. I suspect that the phantasmatic "Ludus Tonalis" to whom the music is credited could well be an art name for the two film composers, Stanley Myers and Hans Zimmer, who were formally credited with "producing" the music [1]. However, I have no source to substantiate this. 86.173.146.3 (talk) 23:03, 15 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
