SA allegations section

This section is far too biased, its only a quote but including a quote claiming they are proven false despite the so called "evidence" of it being a lie being extremely flimsy is in my opinion not a good look for a site like wikipedia. the rest of the paragraph is also basically just there to try and paint melanie as the victim and downplay the actual victims. There is currently no evidence that the allegations are false unless wikipedia now accepts nonsense twitter threads from melanie martinez fans as sources. 77.98.45.106 (talk) 17:52, 6 April 2023 (UTC)

I've looked at it searching for what you are saying and can't seem to find it. The article is citing a "The Line of Best Fit article" where the writer claims they are false. This is properly cited and sourced in Wikipedia even if the article it references doesn't have any sources. The most appropiate action should probably be adding a small edit clarifying that this is merely a claim and nothing has been proven or disproven yet. Santimonre (talk) 20:41, 19 April 2023 (UTC)

But why even reference that article in the first place? What value does it add over any other source that claims the allegations are true or false? Either this quote should be taken out as it's meaningless alone, or there should be multiple examples of which writers/articles claim the allegations are proven or disproven. Cleaning talk page

Hey, just here to say this talk page is being subject to some mild vandalism (weird users that seem to think this is a way to contact the artist mostly). I've fixed it but more are to come probably. I would also like to remind people that are new to editing in wikipedia that sharing personal opinions or claiming allegations as fact are not things you should do. The word American as written in the second introductory sentence “Martinez rose to fame on the American television show The Voice” should be rewritten as “the NBC television show The Voice. This singing competition series is not just limited to the USA as its predecessor the Idol series.
