Article image

edit

The subject has only just debuted and hence does not attend many promotional events and those that she does attend are not highly publicised. Hence, her official photos or magazine scans, both of which are not under free licence, are the only photos readily available. Hence, this photo should be allowed under 'Fair Use' seeing as it properly demonstrates what the image is intended for. Therefore I've reuploaded the image. --Taskinlude 03:15, 24 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

See discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2006 December 24#Image:Mayj.jpg. There is no reason to use a "fair use" image for this living person. —Angr 12:37, 24 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Genre

edit

According to the article the genres where May J. is active in are Contemporary R&B and Urban music. Both the albums Baby Girl and Family are in the genre J-pop according to their articles. Is the genre in the album articles correct and this genre is missing here? --Ilion2 (talk) 07:45, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Baby Girl is contemporary R&B and urban. Family however is more of a pop album. J-pop fans automatically list every single or album released by an artist as J-pop. I don't why they do it. They just do. MS (Talk|Contributions) 07:52, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I removed the link per WP:TPOC. Feel free to add it to the article yourself. However, be sure to provide a reliable source and not the YouTube link. MS (Talk|Contributions) 04:33, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can she speak Farsi?

edit

In the first section of the biography, it's written that she cannot speak Farsi. However, on a recent television show (Music Fair 2014/05/17), she mentions being able to speak Farsi along with English, Japanese, and Spanish. The referenced article doesn't actually say that she can't speak Farsi, only that she wasn't allowed. Here's a clip of the TV show (IN JAPANESE, might get taken down): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uutEabUrmYo 209.195.86.148 (talk) 00:13, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I thought about for a bit and realised there's probably some confusion due to the ambiguity of "unable", meaning either "not allowed" or "not capable". I'll just go ahead and make a quick edit. 209.195.86.148 (talk) 00:18, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
